Rated 5 out of 5 by from great intermediate shoe I'm mainly an endurance athlete who lifts to maintain GPP so I didn't think I needed a true oly shoe. The Adidas powerlift trainier is perfect for me. Obviously it's way more stable than a running shoe for lifting but it still allows me to do a few other things around the gym (short sprints, jumps). Also the price point is great for the quality of shoe. Thanks Adidas, Thanks Rogue fitness for the great customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality, great price. Just got a pair of these last week... first attempt doing Power Snatch, already felt the difference and was able to increase my load by 20KG. We all have to work on mobility and core strength, but having this pair when doing several reps, it helps to control your form better. Very stable feeling when squatting. Once again, for the price, it is very hard to beat this deal. Recommended for any one that is just starting or needs a great shoes for wod's that involve weightlifting. On addidas I usually buy size 8 USA, for this shoe I got a 7.1/2 and fits perfect! =)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome!!! These shoes are amazing! I have been Crossfitting for just over a year and decided to get some lifters but didn't want to break the bank. These are an amazing price and the quality is great! I have used them a few times and can really tell a difference on my lifting. I have been setting PR's on lifts that i thought i was stuck at for the longest time(Front Squat, Back Squat). These are a great shoe to get started with and i have been recommending them to everybody!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love 'em Have worn these for a oly lifting seminar, PRs for weightlifting, and some WODs. Since I am a woman, I have to say they are not pretty......BUT pretty doesn't help you up your PR on front squats by 30 pounds or help you improve your balance with lifting....Great shoe and a great price!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these shoes!! For the price you can not beat these! i got them for $70 delivered from Rogue within a few days. I love the stability these provide when doing Olypmic lifts. Doing squats with these you feel glued to the floor. these are really comfortable so i wouldn't throw out doing box jumps or jump ropes with these on. Now running with these on...no. I would probably go about a half size lower than what you wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sound Purchase These shoes greatly helped my ROM become more fluid. Helps put the weight on your muscles while alleviating stress from your joints. Heel height provides enough for squats and not too much for deadlifts. All in all, the shoes are great and the price is right as well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy these shoes Stop reading the reviews and just buy these shoes. These are my first weightlifting shoes, and I should have bought them a year ago. I've been lifting in Chuck's, and the step up to a real shoe is incredible. You can instantly feel that your body is more stable and better aligned to exert force on the ground and open the hips. The messed up my double-unders for a minute because they are a bit heavier than Chuck's, but nothing that couldn't be fixed in about 100 reps. You will not believe the difference once you put these on, and you'll kick yourself for not having purchased them sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised Great shoe. Really comfortable. I wear 8.5 in normal shoes and that's what I ordered these in. They fit perfect. I've seen the EVA heel mentioned as an area of concern. I don't forsee that being a real issue unless your a REAL BIG DUDE pushing A LOT of weight. All in all, I'd say this is a great intro to intermediate shoe that would be good for a Crossfitter who wants a little more versatility. Rogues service is awesome. I ordered the shoe on a Tuesday and was able to take them for their first test drive 2 days later. That's with free shipping!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoes, great value I have never had dedicated weightlifting shoes before so I am not sure how these stack up in relation to others. But I am very happy with my purchase. They fit more like a standard Adidas shoe, but have a very stiff sole under the heel. I was a bit skeptical about the heel height helping with squats and other lifts, but it seems to put your foot, ankle and calf in a better position and is more comfortable to perform lifts in versus flatter shoes. The velcro strap tightens it all down nicely so they don't slip. I have used these for a workout with pullups, pushups, power cleans, squats and they worked great. They seem to be versatile enough to use for exercises that don't require running or jumping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great shoe first time using this type of shoe and im in awe of the power i generate through my heels! stability is outstanding squat depth is superb! i am new to using this shoe but comfort is considerably very good price is outstanding look is not so bad at all! i recommend this shoe for anyone starting out but very serious about lift and training over all from what i feel there are no negatives with this shoe maybe when i get into the 400 lbs squat range they will lose some stability but i fet no probs with 345 on my back and my ATG!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Value Very good beginner weightlifting shoe for those not wanting to break the bank. Very firm sole translates well for overhead /strongman movements. Sizing Tip: I went to a local sporting goods store and sized myself with the Adidas Sambas. I am a true 13, and I was debating between ordering the 12.5 (for a tighter fit) or the 13. The 12.5 samba was too small and the 13 was perfect, I ordered the 13 in this shoe and they fit the exact same way, perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these shoes! I'm about 170 lbs and have been using these shoes mostly for squats and single-leg work. I typically squat in the 225-250 lb range for reps and the shoe feels very stable. The firm, raised heel has certainly helped my squat depth and energy transfer. They are pretty lightweight, comfortable to walk around the gym in, and look cool. I've read that these are not great for the Olympic lifts but I haven't tried them. For the price, these can't be beaten!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great First Lifting Shoe These are my first lifting shoe and are performing nicely thus far. I second the better mechanical position for the squat as well as the plastic look. The design could be better and the strap could be lower down on the foot to provide more support, but overall the shoe is functional and does it's job nicely. Great shoe for the price point.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really satisfied This is my first weightlifting shoes and prior to this I lifted in flat sole summer street shoes for $30. I can say, that these feel much more thick, solid and tight. Foot is stable inside, no motion in either direction and sole is very good gripping, so it's super easy to plant your feet in bench press (for example). As for squat - they make reaching parallel with good lumbar curve much easier... I even could say, that I am shocked how much more easier it feels. And I very much liked what they did to my bent over barbell row - maintaining bent position now has become even comfortable, when earlier it was toughest part of the lift for me. I rate them 10/10 for their job, but I can't say that I am 10/10 satisfied with design, since I thought they will be white+black, but instead they are more of a grey+black. They look like they are made out of plastic. But well... whatever, otherwise they are perfect in my opinion. Shipping to Eastern Europe took only 1 week and box came undamaged in any way. I seriously love this shop right now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them. I had issues with depth and squatting in general. These shoes work well with cf wods but yet provide enough for legitimate oly work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWSOME SHOES my 1st pair of wieght lifting shoes. they are way better then lifting in runners. great support on no foot movement in the shoes. when you tighten the strap it turns into a footlocker :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best These fit true to the size of the Adidas Samba, which I find fit true to foot size. Adidas IMO makes the best quality sneaker, and these weightlifting shoes are no exception. I believe they'll last me 10 years in the gym. They look much better than other weightlifting brands, and seem to be of higher quality. At $90 they are a steal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stable Shoes I've squatted in Safe's, Chuck Taylor's and AdiStars. These shoes are very versatile. They stand up to 600lb squats and the heel to toe ratio is not so high that you'll need to change out of them to deadlift. If you've worn the AdiStars you might notice a difference in "pitch" though. I don't know how durable they'll be (time will tell)...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy. First pair of oly lifting shoes, very impressed with how well they feel ATG squatting, being able to destroy the parallel and generate considerable more torque out of the hole, with zero strain on the knees/ankles/hips and incredibly cheap too (if you dont count international shipping). Shipping was only 1 week to Australia which was impressive on RogueFitness' behalf.
