Julie Foucher is one of the most consistent performers in women’s CrossFit, with Top 5 finishes in all four of her CrossFit Games appearances. Even more impressively, she’s done this while working toward a medical degree from the esteemed Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.
Julie was introduced to CrossFit while completing her undergrad at the University of Michigan in 2009. Putting her background as a high school gymnast and track athlete to use, she qualified for her first Games within a year, and has continued taking on all comers, finishing first at the Central East Regionals in 2012 and 2014 (she took off 2013 to focus on school). Foucher reached the podium (3rd place) at the CrossFit Games for the second time in 2014-- an accomplishment all the more impressive considering her workload in and out of the gym.
With the combination of her fitness expertise and medical training, Julie hopes to help many people live fuller, healthier lives in the years to come.
