A monster! Not a luxury!
Review by mrbrutaltruthQualityThis thing is built ridiculously strong. I will be criticized for saying it, but it almost seems overbuilt. I feel like I could jack my house up with this thing. In fact, I would respectfully suggest that the weight leads to the one minor criticism I have: the top part of the handle needs a small "T" so that it is easier to grip. This deadlift Jack weighs so much that you cannot just "whip" it around and jam it under the bar. (I have seen others that appear to be made out of what appears to be some type of "rebar" material… They have been plenty strong and much lighter). I know it seems goofy, but you should not have to "chalk up" to be able to pick up the deadlift jack with one hand. I know what you're thinking: "you're supposed to be working out for God's sake!" I just think it would be easier to handle with a small "T" on the top. And one last positive: I bought this as a "splurge." I really am very glad that I bought it. When you are using multiple bumper plates, they are all the same diameter. This means that sliding on a 10 pound bumper plate is as awkward as sliding on a 45 pound Olympic plate. The deadlifts Jack simply makes loading the bar a breeze. In addition, I have a bad back. I have actually pulled my back "out" trying to load plates on Olympic bar that was on the floor. I use the Rogue Hi-Temps, and with small hands, loading the bar for Deads and Cleans can be quite a pain. This deadlift jack made the bar loading process SO much easier. Built like you'd expect from Rogue and got to my house in 3 days. 5 stars here!!
