Vinyl Rower Mat

Available here in a specially sized 3' x 8' 6" cut (0.125" (Thickness), the Vinyl Rower Mat is ideally suited for home gyms, but versatile and durable enough for pro/collegiate training facilities.

Made in the USA, this industrial-strength vinyl mat protects vulnerable hardwood and laminate flooring from scuffs and moisture without permanently trapping dirt and debris in the process. A unique PVC vinyl material, combined with round rib corrugations, make the mat resistant to oils and easy to clean with simple soap and water. A non-slip, skid-resistant backing also ensures a stable foundation as you use your rowing machine or other comparable equipment.

It's a rubber mat...
I mean.....it's a rubber mat that fits under the rower. Doesn't seem to slip and protects the floor.

Worth it
Wanted to protect my vinyl floors from my C2 Rower and this worked perfect. I saw some reviews about the mat sliding around, but as some others have stated be sure the shiny side is down. Both sides of the mat are ribbed, but one side is definitely shiny and the other is matte. Haven’t had any slipping problems with it at all, but there could also be variation in flooring type and performance of the mat that I don’t know about. Would recommend.

Rowing to better health.
As I've aged, I have had to modify my exercise routine. It's become a matter of maintaining, rather than gaining. The rower has replaced my elliptical and is giving me the overall body conditioning, that works best, for me. I have a 30 min. daily routine and my back and legs are becoming less of an issue. Very happy with the rower.

Worth it in my opinion
I was worried I would regret this, felt like it might be overpriced. After setting it up I must say I was proven wrong. This is a very sturdy mat, definitely completes the machine having this underneath to protect the floor. I put it down right away so I'm not sure if the machine has issues skidding without it but none of that with it.

Shiny side down to prevent sliding
Our new rower and mat just arrived and while my original impulse was to put the rib side down to grip our hardwood floors, I called customer service and learned that the SHINY side is the non-slip, grip side. So we've placed it shiny side down, rib side up, and it works well.

Guys…if it’s sliding, it might be upside down!
TLDR: Matte Side = Down Shiny Ribbed Side = Up So…I was confused, so you might also be. I had no idea which way this was meant to go, so, I laid it ribbed (shiny) side down. It was sliding around like crazy on my concrete garage floor. Figured this was normal, and I would just have to deal with it. I came here to the reviews only to see that others were experiencing the same issue. I decided to re-read the item description. •Ribbed Corrugated Surface •Non-Slip Backing Or something along those lines. So I went outside, flipped it over, and it is INDEED non slip! So, if you’re having issues with your mat sliding around, and it’s ribbed (shiny side) down…flip that baddie over!
