First Impressions: seams are triple stitched for extra strength, velcro closure with tie cord are durable, thick material.
I'm 6' even and the shorts hit right above my knees which I feel is perfect fit. Typically am 30-32 inch waist and 32 shorts fit fine without tying the cord. I would tie the cord for a 'cinch' down effect if needed.
Overall the best shorts I have ever owned for freedom of movement and build quality.very nice

Review by DamoQualityI bought 2 pairs of these and wish I had bought 2 of the green ones also. Simply put, I doubt that I will train in any other shorts, they are just that good. The quality is second to none, they are super comfortable and really hardy. I got Reebok Crossfit 'Grit' shorts at the same time. After 1 month at sea using industrial washing machines, the Reebok shorts are totally trashed and unwearable and the Rogue shorts are still like new. Great Job! They are not heavy, even after a lot of sweating. They hold water very well without making them feel like they are dragging. The waist is sturdy and firm, never coming undone or shifting. So you dont have to constantly worry about your shorts.
The break in the side is awesome, especially for anything involving movements similar to squats.
I have another brand of shorts that are newer and they have not held up as well as the Rogue shorts. The Rogue shorts have not frayed or showed any signs of falling apart like the other ones have.
My best advice here is to not buy just one pair. Get a few. You won't regret it.Great shorts

Nothing worse than catching a digit in the pocket when ripping it. Also the fade with the logo after washing is perfect. Stealth mode - it is not about what is printed on the shorts. Performance matters and function of these shorts allows for less chance of a issue allowing for functional / fast movement that is constantly being varied. Review by mikeQualityI probably have about 100 pairs of shorts for all sports and all brands. This by far is the best short for lifting at the gym or crossfitting. The material feels like thick board shorts and you don't get that feeling that you might 'rip' them if you drag a bar across your thighs while doing hang power cleans. When going into squats the 6" slits are wonderful, and allow you to go all the way down without any constriction. Thanks Rogue for the great product. I know they aren't gonna bunch up on me, they are secure so I won't end up showing my crack to the rest of the world when I do air squats, and they are made tough... just like me! I'd recommend these shorts to anyone. They're very mobile and have a nice stretch material sewn into the inner thigh and crotch area for extra mobility. Only complaint is that they don't have pockets! My problem with most shorts is I have a small waist (28") but large quads, so usually if something fits in the waist it's too tight in the quads, or fits the quads but is too large in the waist. These fit perfectly in both areas -- they were clearly designed for athletes. The side slits give full range of motion; you can easily do A2A squats or thrusters or whatever with no binding or pulling. Fabric is heavy-duty and lined throughout. Fit is pretty accurate, and can be adjusted slightly to a more exact fit.
I wear for any workout that isn't just a run.
Picked up a pair at the 2011 East Central Regionals and I've worn them at least 3 times a week since, and they're holding up great.
I'll be picking up another pair soon.
