Originally intended to be used as a mountain racing flat, Inov8's are easily one of the most visible performance shoes for CrossFit.
The F-Lite 195's and 230's made their name by providing a sturdy, flexible, supportive, flat-soled shoe that can withstand most every demand that you'd encounter in CrossFit, all while weighing 230g or a infinitesimal 195g. The 230's sport a "2 Arrow Shock Zone" heel and the 195's boast a shorter "1 Arrow" heel. The heel-to-toe differential for the options is a 6mm on the 230's or a 3mm between the heel height and the toe height of the shoe. A minimal differential maximizes stability for many of the core lifts, the POSE method, bodyweight movements: pull-ups, box jumps, burpees, or any drill that requires versatility.
The 195/230's were manufactured to maximize an athlete's overall speed, power, and responsiveness, whether forward, vertically, or laterally. The Inov-8 195/230's have all grounds covered.

Greatest All Around Shoe. Period.
Review by jeevesQualityI have both the F-Lite 195 and the X-Talon 195. The X-Talon is a cleated version of the F-Lite. Both shoes are amazing. I have never had a better shoe, and will always run in one of these two as long as they're still available.| Review for: Inov8 F-Lite-195 Gray/Red
