Tobey Cheats on Rogue!

It was recently discovered that Rogue Fitness Trainer Tobey McBride performed, instead of doing a true CrossFit style workout, a traditional bodybuilding style workout yesterday. The news comes as a great shock to the Rogue training staff. Allegedly performed were such forbidden exercises as Lat Pulldowns, Skullcrushers, and the king of useless lifts, Curls. Below is an artist's representation of what the scene may have looked like. Penance is forthcoming.

Forgive me Rogue for I have sin… I have a confession to make. . . I cheated!

Last week on a rainy morning I decided to go to a local gym to run indoors. After a great run and some time to spare I was curious to know what one of my old workouts would be like. I quickly decided to bench, dead lift, lat pull downs and yes bicep curls. (NO I did not do skull crushers!) I did 3 sets of each in a circuit. The honest truth is I HATED every minute of it! I was not driven, motivated, challenged and most importantly I did not leave that gym with a feeling of accomplishment or satisfaction like I do after a cross fit workout at Rogue. I am glad I did it because I truly have no doubt in my mind that Rogue (Cross Fit) is the way to go! I believe in Rogue and in my fellow trainers and all of our clients. So, now that the confession was made, Rogue please take my sin away!

* I challenge you to go to a gym and do the workout I did and see for yourself how unpleasant your old workouts use to be, I really could not believe how much I hated it and how much better training at Rogue truly is for you physically, mentally and socially!
