POSE Running at Rogue!

Many think running is simple, we disagree. We believe in teaching all of our athletes how to perform all required movements.

Eric Jones received his POSE coaching certificate and will be coaching all of our athletes how to run properly. This will greatly reduce overuse injuries that most runners deal with. Come in get strong, build work capacity and run a triathlon. Our program will make you a stronger runner!

Lift then run?

Today we mixed Olympic lifting with sprinting. Our clients want strength, and we deliver. Our Level two clients can lift the weight of a small person over there heads, then follow it up with a 200 meter dash, did I mention this was for 20 minutes. They didn't learn this by not being here, most of them have been here six or more months. Want to see how this is possible, it starts every Monday with our elements class.

A workout named Dennis!

Dennis Cornett was the first Rogue warrior of the month, he was able to create his very own workout and see his fellow victims suffer through it. The workout was well received and all of the levels were able to slay Dennis. Good work Dennis, remember there will be another Rogue Warrior selected every month, Rogue is always watching.

J beats the CrossFit Record Fran Time!

Working on Fran!

Following hot on the heels of the killer Fran performances of J Thomas and Caity Matter, almost everyone who did Fran today got personal bests...by alot! The entire Level 2 class finished in under 10 minutes!

This was a great class meant for anyone that wants to hit a heavy bag and do some basic drills to build overall conditioning. We learned some basic punching combos and got the chance to take out some aggression!!

The girls of Crossfit.

Tonight the assignment for team Rogue was a Crossfit special (Helen.) This exercise challenged our clients to run a series of 400 Meter sprints followed by Kettlebell work, and Pullups. Carolyn - WE ARE IMPRESSED!

A few days ago someone told me that when you use caps that means you are yelling, so if you see caps that means I am screaming!

Carolyn has come into our facility to train 3-4 days/week for 6 months. She is seen in this picture doing the workout with Kevin, what that means is we don't have dividing lines! She has little to no fear of working with our top athletes and many times beats them.

Many times our clients will try to figure out how to meet goals, here are the top 2:

1. Lose Fat

2. Gain Muscle

If you want to know, ask Carolyn and she will tell you to work hard and eat meat! We don't tell our clients to diet and enjoy a life full of starvation. Real simple start on the outskirts of the grocery store, eat meat, vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds. Dial it in from there but this will help you achieve 75% of your dietary goals. Oh yeah, go out and enjoy your favorite foods every once in a while. What you will find is that McDonalds will repulse you, eat like a Spartan.

We slammed 70LB MMA bags last night, Carolyn subbed ball slams. After the class she stuck around to learn how to get the bag to her shoulder and slam it. Her smile wasn't right!

WE ARE VERY PROUD TO HAVE CAROLYN AS A CLIENT

I haven't forgotten about her son J, I just think his mom works a little harder.


Girl power!

Only females were in attendance at the level 2 class tonight. So what was the outcome, they finished the workout in blinding speed, besting the female time of the day by minutes. This was truly inspirational. Good work ladies!
