MMA Conditioning Class is Growing!

DSC02937.png
DSC02935.png
We started the MMA conditioning class a couple weeks ago and since then it has been packed. Don't expect to get hit in the face but you should expect to hit the bag and learn some basic technique. As you can see from the pictures this class is meant for everyone and Troy is a great instructor!

Give it a shot!

Spartan

The now classic "300" workout came back through the rotation yesterday. The entire body of Rogue members greatly impressed as All of the classes drove through the workout like it was nothing. This is a huge improvement since just a few months ago there was almost no one at Rogue that could complete the workout at prescribed in a decent time. I think it may become a warmup in the near future...

Troy teaching the late elements class this evening. We have been teaching the future Rogue members all day. Very impressed by the new recruits, we are looking forward to Elements 2 on Wednesday.

Each recruit will graduate to our Level 1/All Level classes after their third elements class on Friday. Good luck and welcome to the ranks!

Great class, welcome back Tonya! Tonya took 2 months off to train for the Sandhurst competition at WestPoint. Now it is time to get back at it!

Ever wonder what goes on in the Level 3 workout? The picture above should give you a glimpse with Troy hanging on the peg board.

We have diversified our class offerings over the past few months, come on in and see the pipeline!

Kevin Takes On New Challenge!

Our own Kevin Mueller will be competing in the Ohio Weightlifting Open this summer at the State Fair. HIs training is currently under development and will contain some top secret experimental programming of untold intensity. Rumor has it that he will be Clean and Jerking Volkswagen Beetles, tearing phonebooks, and making things explode by looking at them. Nutritional planning is said to include eating entire alligators. We wish him luck!

You Guys/Gals are wearing us out!

DSC03257.JPG
The noon class wore Troy out, he is taking a nap right now so wake him up when you get here for the open strength class. Use a broomstick so you don't get hurt!

This has been a great week, make sure you check the calendar for some changes and additions.

6 AM class is a hit!

This was the first week of the 6 AM class. Yeah there were some sleepy eyes at first but once we get the bodies warmed and the heart rates up its GAME ON!! Now there is no excuse for missing a workout if you have plans in the evening. At least on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Get your butts out of bed get here!

Lynn came to the Friday 6 AM class and she gave 110% with a smile on her face! Awesome!!

Big cleans and Erol's 1st workout after graduating from Elements

Jerry and Jeff were throwing around some big weight as they worked up to their one rep max in the clean this morning. Once they get the rack position perfected I see some 300lbs cleans in their future.

DSC03285.JPG

During the WOD Udi's form improved as he completed more and more rounds.
DSC03290.JPG

This morning was Erol's first workout after completing the Elements program. He came in this morning ready to work and work he did!
DSC03292.JPG

Sherri demonstrated excellent technique, as usual, in all of the exercises and destroyed the workout with her trademark intensity.

Heather, Lynn and Erin - Knocked it out of the park!

All of our ladies finished "Fran" in less than 10 minutes with prescribed weight.

More Front Squats!

Today we focused on getting the Level 2s into good, safe, strong front squats. This movement is the basis of the Olympic lifts and is critical for building functional strength.

Check it out!

"Those SDHPs SUCK!!!" Especially in the morning.

They say that you are a product of who you surround yourself with. Every athlete this morning busted their butts. Working out with people like this morning's crew will only get you stronger.

Jeff sure is a glutton for punishment. He worked out last night at 6:30 and barely 12 hours later he came back for more at 6AM!

Perseverance and Consistency in Training!

DSC03411.JPG
Look at the pictures, have you noticed that our members attend 3-4 classes per week. The average gym goer makes it to the globogym about 3-4 times a month. Pretty simple if you don't show up you will get an AWOL notification telling you to get your butt back in here!

Heather and Roger are pictured above, both of them have made crazy improvements. We don't test BMI or look at scales. If you ask them they just feel tough as nails and due to their hard work all the traditional measures have been blasted. You don't need a bod pod or some fancy oxygen device to tell you that you are out of shape or you don't eat right. Keep it simple just work hard and eat on the outskirts of the grocery store. If you work real hard you can eat a ton of great food.

Our elements program kicks off every Monday and there is not payment obligation. Call us and pick one of the 3 sessions to kickstart your training program. Our classes are for 60 year old women through MMA fighters, the only thing you need is the ability to work hard! Nothing in life comes without it, so you shouldn't expect results from something easy like Tai Bo.

DSC03442.JPG
If you see the people in the picture above and notice that their resting heart rate is pretty scary, don't bother them! These ladies were crazy tonight.

6AM Madness!!!

The morning crew demonstrated that they understand intensity and how to turn it up!
DSC03463.JPG
We had 3 new graduates from the Elements program last week show up this morning for the full dose, Rogue style! Great job Ryan, Erol, and Kelly!

Dennis pulled much weight during the skill session then attacked the WOD.

George flipped a switch and destroyed the workout! Way to turn it up.

Welcome to level 2 Jason!

Jason came to us about five months ago and wanted to become a fire breather. He attends four times a week, and always listens to coaches. He continues to improve in every aspect of training. Tonight he had his first class as a level 2 member and was able to compete with some of our best athletes. If he keeps this up he just might make level 3.

Not all of are clients come to us in great shape. If you are waiting until you are in the best shape of your life to join, than you are missing the best part of belonging to Rogue. Our Elements class begin again next Monday, what are you waiting for?

OHS means what?

If you have never placed a 7.5 foot bar, with at LEAST half of your bodyweight over your head and squatted, then you have not lived. The women of our noon class smashed this crazy goal today, Heather and Lynn were able to do 75Lbs for 5 reps. This was after a 1 mile warm up sprint. Seems excessive to some, but after being here for a few months all of our clients show amazing results. If you doubt this, come in at noon sometime and ask.
Or better yet, show up on Monday at 11AM, 430PM, or 730PM and take your first element class.

Join the Revolution today!

Schedule Change and Holy *****

DSC03634.png
It will only be a matter of time before Carolyn propels herself above the bar at warp speed! I was very impressed tonight with the crew, strong effort with a very difficult workout.

We have canceled all classes on Monday, eat and enjoy time with your family!

All Elements classes have been moved to Tuesday!

This is not an excuse not to get in here 3-4 times/week!

May 22, 2008

Check out Spark Conditioning!

Kim runs a great biz, pretty impressed with his video!

Get in here tomorrow and work on your Olifts prior to the All Level at 6PM!

SATURDAY SCHEDULE WILL REMAIN THE SAME AND THE FOLLOWING WEEKEND WILL SWITCH OVER TO A 9AM START

Bring the intensity

Today I was amazed as class after class marched into Rogue and smashed the workout of the day. I was very happy to see people pushing themselves to the next level. Make sure all of you refill your body this holiday weekend with healthy food.

Just a reminder, the Elements class for Monday will be moved to Tuesday. If you not sure what the Elements class is make sure you call and get your free session.

Take time this holiday weekend to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for this great nation.

Saturday WOD - Kettlebells are back!

DSC03690.JPG
We have been hitting strength and Olympic lifts for a while so we mixed it up today. Our RKC trainer Troy Taylor taught the snatch to all of our athletes, and yes we treat our people as athletes.

George challenged Caity and Lost!

Great work crew!

Level 2 Insanity! Thanks Coach Cannella

DSC03728.JPG
Coach Mark Cannella came over to work with everyone on the Olifts, I don't think he was expecting 15 people! Everyone made me proud with the work you put in, just know that you are amongst a very small percentage of people that work within the Olympic Lifting sport.
DSC03730.JPG
Cannella showing Tonya how to stretch the bar.

As usual Mark corrected folks very quickly and the weight was moving!

It is funny after 1.5hours of lifting there were still people looking for a WOD so I through an Eric Jones special up and they killed it!

Peter is starting to turn a switch!

DSC03410.JPG
Peter recently became a Police officer, which means he better not give anyone at Rogue a ticket or the punishment will be severe!

Tonight the crew did a 5K in the Level 2 class, great work everyone! Carolyn finished in 30 minutes, that is one of the coolest things I have seen.

Thanks to all of our athletes for putting hard work in and striving for results! If it was easy everyone would do it.
