Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideal for Metcpns I've had these shoes for almost a year now and they're awesome. They were the first Nanos I've owned and I was immediately impressed. I had never worn a "CrossFit shoe" before so I quickly noticed that you could virtually do any physical task in these. They are very comfortable and as for sizing, I'm not sure what direction to steer you in. I can say that I am usually a size 12-12.5 (I say usually because for some reason no two shoe brands seem to be on the same page when it comes to sizes) and based on the reviews I read before I bought them, I went with a half-size big. I bought 13's. They definitely aren't tight on my foot, but I can't say that's a bad thing. They aren't so large that they flop all over the place. However, my friend happens to have the same exact shoe in size 12. I tried them on and they fit BUT they were kinda tight. So based on that I'm gonna go ahead and say they are pretty true to size so I'd say don't bother ordering a size or half-size big or small; just get the same size shoe you've got you're whole adult life. These shoes are literally perfect for any and every CrossFit metcon workout, and I can only imagine that the 5.0's contradict this statement because they're probably just that much better. HOWEVER, DO NOT buy this shoe and expect them to deliver the same results as a strictly-olympic-weightlifting shoe. I say this because, yes, in workouts like Grace or Isabel where you bang out 30, 135lb clean & jerks or snatches for time (respectively), this shoe presents no problem because the weight is light and you need to be able to move around a little bit. BUT, when chasing down a PR snatch or clean & jerk, this shoe is noticeably unstable. Same for squatting. Since there is no heel-to-toe drop on these shoes, like you'll see on weightlifting shoes, you'll have significant struggles getting into full bottom positions with an upright torso. So it makes it that much harder to hit a huge PR when squatting, snatching or clean & jerking. Same thing goes for running. For long distance running (I mean anything longer than a mile), these shoes are mediocre. For short sprints, you won't really have an issue. But for distance running, this shoe isn't horrible but it's not good either. Overall, these shoes are ideal if you are just starting CrossFit and love doing multiple short metcons in a day. Reason I gave them 5 stars is because for the purpose they have been built for, these shoes do not fall short in any area. They are not the ideal weightlifting shoe, and even less ideal for distance running. But in the world of CrossFit where the physical task is always unknown, these shoes are ready for nearly anything. Also they look awesome :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I want more. I've been using the Nano 4.0s for about 3 months now and I gotta say, I'm quite pleased. They've help up extremely well so far and don't seem to have much wear on them. I'm saving up to buy another pair just to wear around because I love the fit so much. I have never owned a shoe more comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great support Just got these in the mail today, and first impressions are great! I have been an avid NB Minimus guy, but these shoes are much more stable. Compared to NB Minimus line these have more padding, wider toe box, the outside material is more firm, and size is the same for me 11.5 for NB, 11.5 for Nano's. The only two complaints I have is that the sole on the instep is a little thin for a low arch guy, and the shoe laces are short. If you plan on power lacing you'll need different laces. Even with that said this is my new go to for cross training.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Shoe But Runs Big I kept reading reviews about these shoes running a have size too small, but decided to order my normal shoe size regardless. Good thing cause mine actually ran a half size too big. the width if perfect, but the length is too long. Other than that they are a good shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Fit Ive been a diehard Inov8 guy for years but the new Navy Seal Nanos got me to switch... I was nervous about sizing from all the reviewers claiming they run small but they are perfect. More room than F-Lites, and they are very comfortable. I will say they don't breath as well as F-Lites but they arent that bad. They'll be nice for the cooler months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As advertised...no issues with shoe sizing I had the Nano 2.0 and wore them into the ground. It was finally time to re-invest and was worried about the few reviews on shoe size needing to be different. At least for me the 10.5 in the 2.0s fits as I would expect in the 4.0s. The fit is a little more snug, but I expected that since its a new shoe and my 2.0s had been punished/broken in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth it These have to be some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. It's like your foot has a glove on. I'm 11.5 in all shoes and these fit perfectly no need to size up or down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe runs small I had to return the first pair because they where too small in length. I am an exact 11 and they where at least .5 too small. I just got the 11.5 and they seem great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoe but run small Pre-ordered these because the 3.0's were amazing. So far I like these even more but the only downside is they run small. Go a half size bigger just to be safe. Definitely getting another pair in a different color.
