The Rogue Burner Bar is a 28.5MM 20KG Men's training bar that does not have any coating on the bar. This bar is made with Hight Tensile Strength steel and is a work of art. The knurl is perfect, there is something special about a bar right out of the lathe!
This bar can be used for heavy Olympic or Power Lifting movements.
The sleeve has the classic bronze bushing and snap ring design
This bar is bare steel and just like any fine piece of machined steel this will require some upkeep. Occasionally brushing the bar down with 3 in 1 oil or WD-40 will create a beautiful patina look. This is how bars were made for decades and this creates an unmatched feel

I tried to kill it on a particularly bad day not long after I received it. No luck. It held up against strong abuse. Since then I have used it from time to time just to keep it fresh. It has performed well when used. Specs: deadlift of 590, press of 255, bench of 355, power clean and press of 250, benched only 355 but have done 250x20 on it, and have only squatted mid range. But it was smooth and friendly up to the 391x6 I have done with it. I have never maxed any lifts with it but that is on the schedule. No known reason not to. For the price it is hard to beat.
Maintenance isn't an issue. As with B&R bars it gets some Tuff Glide and Dremel from time to time. Zero rust, looks better than the day I got it.Great value, needs regular maintenance...
Review by soul_eraserQualityI bought this bar mainly for the purpose of performing Olympic lifts but I also use it for squatting and deadlifting. The collars are very smooth and the knurling is great. Also, it is easy to remove the collars with a good pair of snap ring pliers. The bar does need to be maintained by regularly scrubbing the shaft with a steel brush and then coating with 3-in-1 oil to help remove/prevent rust formation. Maintenance issues aside, this is an outstanding value for a bar that works very well for both Olympic weightlifting and powerlifting movements.| Review for: Rogue Burner BarGreat bar, great price
Review by DeadliftermutQualityI have two Rogue Burner bars. I use them four times per week, and both bars do very well with powerlifting, and olympic lifting. You just don't need more bar for the home or garage set up. I have spent a lot more money for lesser bars.
