Rogue Color KG Training Plates

Printed in Columbus, Ohio, these quality color-coded bumpers are an IWF standard 450mm in diameter, with narrow width that allows for more weight to be loaded on the bar. A 50.4mm collar opening and steel disc insert keep the plates firmly in place even during intense, high-rep training.

Rogue Color KG Training Plates have a Shore A durometer of 86, producing a consistent dead bounce well suited to the serious Olympic lifter. Since 2010, they've also been the official plates used in competition at the Reebok CrossFit Games.

The color coding of the KG Training Plates makes them easy to identify at a glance, helping athletes, trainers, and coaches run more efficient workouts. Red = 25KG, Blue = 20KG, Yellow = 15KG, and Green = 10KG. Use the order form on the right to choose the plate that meets your needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for home gym I recently bought a set of 25's and 35's for my home gym. Love these plates. As others have stated, these bounce a bit, but I really don't see it as a problem. They bounce more than the ones I use at the gym, but it's not really noticeable unless you drop them from above waist level, and the 35's bounce less than the 25's. I'll get more when I save up a little more $$.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Competiton Plates Great looking plates, seem to be well made and fit on the bar good. Definitely more bounce then I anticipated. If you're looking for a low bounce plate you'll be disappointed with these. For the price, in comparison to some 'high end" plates, you can't beat them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Rogue Competitive Bumper Plates - Simply Outstanding! For many years, I have only used Olympic steel plates for my weight lifting workouts. So when I recently needed to replace a 20+-year-old 20kg barbell, I also decided to purchase the Rogue Competitive Bumper Plates (pair of 55lb, 45lb, 35lb and 25lb plates). These plates are very well designed, extremely durable and they have a very good ("smooth") feel during each set-workout - colors also look fantastic. For the last 2 weeks, I have been using the Rogue Competitive Bumper Plates for the big 3-power lift or core exercises (squats, dead lifts and bench press) with the Westside Power Bar (205K). These bumper plates fit perfectly (very tight fit) on the Westside Power Bar. I have been "very" pleased with the performance and durability of the bumper plates. If you decide to go with the Rogue Competitive Bumper Plates, you will not be disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cautionary Note I purchased these and used them in my garage with a smooth concrete floor. On the first or second drop, some of the blue coating chipped off. Perhaps these competition bumpers should never be used on concrete, or maybe mine were just a bad pair, but I recommend not making the assumption that these will work on every surface that some might intend to use them on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Plates The only thing I have to add is that in my experience the colored bumper plates bounce noticeably more than the black training plates (and those just land, no bounce). Hope that helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best price for KG plates This is really the only option for having competition KG plates for a home gym. Incredible quality at a great price. A pair of reds will complete my set.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty good Pretty good...the wording all fell off pretty soon after getting them. My only other complaint is that they are ALWAYS OUT OF STOCK! I've been waiting to buy 55lb plates for a year now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from KG for Serious Lifting I'll echo the comments about the fit of the bumpers, the bounce, and the fact that they don't take up near as much room as other bumpers at the same price. If you compete power lifting or oly lifting, KG makes it a lot easier to go from training to competition. My only complaint is they keep running out of stock.
