Rogue Echo Dog Sled

Our Most Cost Efficient Steel Speed Sled

The Echo Dog Sled adapts the push/pull versatility and quality steel construction of our standard Dog Sled into a more streamlined, budget-priced design. • 1One-Piece Steel Construction

To reduce the weight, bulk, and cost of the unit, we constructed the Echo Dog Sled by taking a sheet of 1/4” plate steel and forming it into a single-piece, solid base. There are only four welds on the entire sled, and those were used to create the corner sockets for the (2) included uprights. The completed sled creates a compact 36.5" x 25” footprint, and because it’s manufactured at Rogue HQ, you can count on the professional quality of the work and durability of the product.

  • 2Optional Skis for Floor Protection

As with our standard Rogue Dog Sled, the Echo version can be ordered with protective plastic skis, which can greatly reduce the risk of floor damage for those training in an indoor gym space.

  • 3No Part Left Unused

In an innovative design twist, the cut-outs found in the middle of the Echo Dog Sled are actually re-utilized as stiffeners for the underside of the sled (they can be easily installed by the user during set-up). The additional 1/4" steel bracing created by these stiffeners supports the sled against any flex caused by its one-piece design.

  • 4Great Companion Piece to Standard Dog Sled

Along with offering substantial functionality on its own, the Echo Dog Sled also makes a good working complement to our standard, top-tier Rogue Dog Sled 1.2. Gym owners, coaches, and trainers can provide more athletes with a quality push/pull sled at a reduced cost, while still preparing them for the use of the more advanced Dog Sled, which offers compatibility with a wide range of mountable attachments, including the Double Handle, Lawn Boy, Wheelbarrow, and more.

  • 5Compact Sled, Ample Capacity

Compared to many prowler and speed sled designs, the portable Echo Dog Sled has a smaller overall surface area, allowing you to get the most out of the plates that you own. The provided 17” weight post has a load capacity of 450+ pounds in steel plates—so pile them on to your heart’s content.

  • 6Rogue Shipping

Rogue prides itself on fast, professional shipping, often with same-day turnaround times. Your Echo Dog Sled ships UPS ground, and is dis-assembled for a low, reasonable rate, with all hardware for set-up included. You can follow the progress of your order from our factory floor to your door using the online Rogue Shipping Tracker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for my hatred of running I love this thing. Durable like a Viking Battle Axe made Steel imported from Samurai Sword makers of Japan. Two to three times a week I break this bad boy out. Put on my American Flag Karate pants and do 10 sets of 20 yd sprints down my street with either two 45 pound plates or two 5 year olds for a simulated pony ride. I'm ready to puke. It could be the fact that I'm overweight and 48 or that I'm some hardcore demigod doing extreme cardio Who knows. Sure my neighbors love the sound it makes as I glide up and down my street. Sounds like freedom and Bald Eagles Screeching. I imagine I look a lot like a scenes from any Rocky movie when he's training for a big fight. Because I own this, I can do it whenever I want......Maybe not before 0800 in the morning because no doubt....It really is loud when it grinds on asphalt or whatever. Rouge is quality. I've learned the hard way and ended up spending more money buy cheap non quality stuff and then having to replace it only to spend twice as month. If you have a garage gym..This is well worth the money especially if you have an aversion to light jogs down country roads while listening to smooth jazz.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just put together I'm happy with the sled however, make sure you add the dragging strap because it doesn't come with one. The option where it says add extra 16' drag strap doesn't really mean an extra strap unless you add 2 of them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No prob I was a little concerned after reading the reviews, but i had almost no trouble with assembly including plastic skis. I had an issue with one washer/ bolt, but that's it. Took me 15-20 min to construct with no help, then I spent the afternoon sledding my kids up and down our street. PS - skis are more quiet on concrete than I expected.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rock Solid (Maybe too much) Rock solid, easy to put together; EXCEPT for the impossible aluminum screws to install the plastic ski feet. The aluminum screws get chewed up by the steel threads so now I'm going to have to bore out the holes and use different screws and bolt them down (maybe an idea for Rogue in the future).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect. I bought this a week ago. Everything is great except the bolts for the cross bracing are 1" and should be 1/4" longer. The bolts barely make it half way through the nuts. I also wish that the cups for the uprights were at least a hand width. It's light enough to pick up but if the cups were longer that would be an ideal place to grab and haul around before and after workout. Otherwise it is awesome- it will be passed down to my kids one day. Heirloom. Haha.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Sled for the Bucks Been using for two weeks now and I love it! Use exclusively on grass and it does exceptionally well. Love the fact I don't have to turn the sled and tear up my yard. Just move the handles to the opposite end and roll!! Heavy duty and should last a life time or two.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grate sled Thee Echo dog sled is a grate buy. If you want to save a little money on sled we have both 1.2 and echo purchase thee Echo have no regrets it is lighter then the 1.2 an It can flex jus a little but that's no problem. to me it looks better then the 1.2 a dose the job even when it's parked. An recommend it to anyone looking for a sled.
