Rogue Iso Leg Press 35

The Rogue Iso Leg Press 35 is a heavy-duty, bilateral/unilateral leg press machine suited for athletes of any size and experience level, with 4 weight pegs offering a total load capacity of up to 2,475 LBS. A pop-pin adjustable lumbar seat and adjustable spring safety stops are also part of this innovative design, along with a multi-angle diamond-tread foot deck, linear ball bearings for smooth action, and four bolt-on stainless steel posts for additional plate storage.

As one of the few professional-grade, American-made leg press machines on the market, the 700LB Iso Leg Press 35 addresses many of the old criticisms of these machines, delivering more than 60% of true weight in average resistance and allowing for concentrated double and single leg exercises. Each unit is constructed from quality steel with a Texture Black Powder Coat finish on the weight peg assembly, spring stops, locking handles, and foot deck (for added grip/traction). The rest of the main frame—and the storage post mounting plates—feature a Medium Gloss Black finish.

Important: The Iso Leg Press 35 is a built-to-order product and may require a lead time before shipping, fully assembled, via freight. The machine shown in the photos above uses a custom color configuration. Standard seat and lumbar pads for this unit will be black.

Well built and smooth, but not without a few flaws
The machine is a tank, ships fully assembled and its super heavy. took 5 strong guys to move it across the room! The ability to do single leg is great, and the machine itself is very smooth. The large foot plate with multiple angles is also a plus. There are however a few flaws with the machine. First is that there is no place to put your feet to get into the machine, most have an opening in front of the seat but this does not due to the dual tracks... not the end of the world, but has proven tricky for some of our PT clients to figure out. The more glaring flaw is the amount of play between the two sleds when the machine is "locked" (locked meaning its supposed to be one solid unit and move together). The play between the left and right sled is roughly 1/4" - 1/2" because the pin is much smaller than the locking channel, which may not sound like a lot but when using the machine its quite obvious this could have been manufactured and designed better. Their customer service said "its supposed to be like that" but to me a $6,000+ machine should have a pin that fits the locking channel a lot tighter. I do believe they'll eventually correct this oversight, and when they do I hope they'll be offering me a new better-fitting locking pin

We're glad to hear the Iso Leg Press is getting great use in your facility and appreciate you taking the time to leave us your feedback. We had our team take a look at the play you mentioned and can confirm it is within spec. We also sent over a troubleshoot to reduce some of this movement.

Solid w/Drawbacks
Afraid that I would not be able to unload it, I had it delivered to a friends warehouse with a loading dock and then some movers bring it over. If the movers could do it, I'm sure some strong friends with rollers could unload it off a lift gate. Usual, solid piece of equipment from Rogue. Smooth operation, good adjustments. However, had I realized I could not do calves on this machine I would have purchased from another manufacturer. I'm not sure why Rogue did not design this without the ability to do calves. I've never used a leg press machine before where I could not. Major disappointment. Second con on this machine is the plate pegs. You can only store 45's on one peg -- no quarters either! Only dimes fit with the 45's. This is not necessarily a deal breaker but does dumbfound me a bit.

Great leg press, heavy duty
My wife and I just got this in a few days ago and have both started using it in our training. Overall, it is the heavy-duty, attractive piece of gear you'd expect from Rogue. Moves well and gets a great pump. As others have mentioned, be prepared when this arrives as it clocks in around 1000 pounds of freight (including the heavy duty pallet it comes on, which is about 2 pallets long). Unfortunately our shipment was delivered to the wrong address, so the freight company had to come back, load it back on the truck and redeliver to my house. We unfortunately did not have a forklift or any other heavy gear, but we were able to get it done with a couple of furniture dollies I had on hand. This took me and the freight driver to load it back up. As far as unloading, we unloaded it with the lift gate well enough. I cut apart the crate it came in, then took off the foot plates and it was light enough to slide it off the pallet and move on to some rollers and move it into place by myself. The moral of the story is that this can be moved by one person without a forklift, but you'll need to have something to roll it on. So far it functions very nicely; it is comfortable and moves well. Only a few minor drawbacks that we can think of: 1. The handles you hold on to while pressing are a bit too wide for a smaller person such as my wife. 2. The 2 plate storage pegs do not fit both a 45 lb plate on one peg and a 25lb plate on the other (at least not my plates). 3. The foot plates come all the way down to the slides and there's no gap to hang your heels off and do Calf raises. Overall a great piece of gear! We love it.

Heavy duty
Worth the wait. Could not be happier with this piece of equipment. Heavy duty, smooth bearings, and holds a ton of weight. Ability to go single or dual press is a huge win. Isolated single leg press back and forth for a great warmup. Note you need a forklift to get this puppy out. Had to break it apart to lug it to the basement gym but it can be done with a few friends.

This is a beast!
I put this in our gym last night and the members love it! Very excited about the ability to iso with a leg press. Agree with the other reviewers... you will need a forklift to unload. We moved it upstairs and it took 6 strong guys. As with all Rogue equipment, this is really well built.

Best Leg Press
Best Leg Press I’ve ever used in my life. Super smooth due to the linear bearings. Footplate is massive which allows you to hit different parts of your legs depending on your foot placement.

Worth every penny!!!
This leg press is amazing. It’s built to last and very easy for our clients to use. If you plan on purchasing this I would recommend a forklift… it was very difficult to unload this from the UPS truck without it.

Worth EVERY penny!
This thing is built like an absolute tank. The sled moves well with zero hang ups. Seatback has many adjustments. So far ZERO negatives to speak of on this machine. Be ready on delivery. You’ll absolutely need a forklift.
