Rogue Stall Bars 3.0

Newly redesigned as a bolt-together unit, Rogue Stall Bars adapt the classic Swedish Ladder gymnastics apparatus into a heavy-duty 21st century training tool—with almost limitless applications for any type of athlete. The unit is available with your choice of wood or metal rungs, and comes in two different mounting options: Wall-Mount and Rig/Rack Mount.

  • Rogue Stall Bar 3.0  – Includes all of the rungs needed along with (2) 90" Monster Lite Uprights and (4) Wall Mounting Brackets. This set-up is recommended only for secure concrete walls or wood studs, and may require additional support or a stringer. Stall Bars should NOT be used on drywall or metal studs in any situation.
  • Rogue Stall Bar 3.0 Crossmember Set – Includes all of the necessary crossmembers and hardware to connect to any existing Monster Lite or Infinity Rack/Rig (you can either add a section to the back of a rack or to a single 43" wide section of a rig). For greater stability and safety, the Stall Bars should only be mounted to a rig or rack that is securely fastened to the floor. Available with either metal or wood rungs.

Each Stall Bar unit stands 90" tall, and the rungs themselves are 43" wide and spaced 6” on center. The metal bars have a diameter of 1.25" while the wood version diameter is 1.5".

Dating back to the 19th century, stall bars have served as a simple, customizable tool for targeted stretching and bodyweight training—helping athletes develop better balance, flexibility, and core strength. Once associated more with gymnastic training, the ladder’s benefits have recently been embraced by trainers working with everyone from martial artists to power lifters. Pound for pound, it’s hard to find a more versatile piece of equipment.

Best Stall Bars I have ever used!
I’ve used many stall bars over the years, so I knew what I wanted and what I didn’t want. I decided to go with the Rogue Stall Bars because they are very wide (as wide as my H2 Rogue Rack), metal (easier to clean), have 1.25” diameter crossbars, and are built to last. Of all the equipment in my home gym, the stall bars are the most versatile and definitely my favourite. I wish I had invested in these sooner because I’m thrilled with the positive impact they have had on my strength and mobility training. They are helping me with my compression and press handstand training, my backbending (especially my shoulder opening), and my push-pull strength training. I cannot recommend these enough.

Awesome
I purchased the stall bars for a PT office as an all around function fitness rig. It has so many applications from stretching to core strengthening, it makes a great attachment point for Crossover Symmetry and TRX straps. Overall I’m extremely happy with the product!

Really big and really heavy
It's taking me a few weeks to get the stall bars installed on the back of my house due to the sheer weight of the structure. Plan for multiple strong people to complete your installation.

I love my stall bars.
I use them daily for body weight exercises and mobility bands. These are great for stretching allowing you to attach bands to different heights and leave them there without interfering with functionality of the piece. I have the metal bars.

The stall bars are very sturdy and stable
I started an online gymnastic program mid August and they say you can use a wall for the thoracic program. I felt very unstable using the wall and felt like I might fall. I feel a lot more stable & secure using the stall bars.

Dowels need to be sanded in order to be functional
This was a bit of a disappointment for me considering Rogue's normal quality control. While the metal components and dowels go together perfectly, and the entire unit mounts flawlessly to my half-rack, the oak dowels are not in usable condition out-of-the-box. To give you a sense of what I mean, when I pulled the first dowel from the shipping box, I received a tiny sliver in my hand. As I carefully removed the rest of the dowels I noticed that many of them were not properly sanded to remove all burs. I contacted Rogue about this and another issue (the dowels were improperly labeled as maple on the site), and to their credit they offered to take it all back. Score another point for their customer service. After chatting with a woodworking friend, he recommended sanding them and finishing them with tung oil (non-toxic). (Note: tung oil is not tung oil finish, which does have toxins.) I did just that, which took about five hours in total, and the results are pretty amazing. These are not currently up to the normal Rogue value standard (where cost meets quality), but they can be made so with some effort.

After sanding and finishing
I can even lift weights with the bars in place!
