SML-3 Rogue 108” Monster Lite Squat Stand

The SML-3 Monster Lite Squat Stand combines the 3x3” 11-gauge steel tubing of Rogue’s Monster Series with the 5/8” hardware and Westside hole pattern of the S-Series.

Like all squat stands in the Monster Lite line, the SML-3 operates within just a 49x48” footprint. But its 9-foot height and adjustable pull-up bar make it more like a power rack when it comes to training options. Alternate from squats to bench press, pull-ups to floor press. The SML-3 makes for a dynamic, affordable addition to any home gym, collegiate weight room, or CrossFit affiliate.

SML-3 Rogue 108" Monster Lite Squat Stand is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Squat Stand! I've had this for a little over a month so I figured I'd do a review. I was anticipating something sturdy but I was still slightly taken back at how monstrous this thing is (no complaints here). I was debating between this and the SML 2 but decided on the SML 3 so I could hang freely when doing pullups (I'm 6 ft and have long arms). I also opted to do the single skinny bar. Glad on both decisions. I bolted the pull up bar slightly above my arms reach when the are extended up. One thing i noticed is if you want to attempt ring muscle ups, it looks like you can with this stand (be sure its either bolted or somehow securely weighed down). I'll keep adding more things to it as my budget allows. All in all, Im really happy with this stand and wouldnt switch it for another.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great choice After debating for a few months about which squat stand I should purchase (went with squat stand because of room and money considerations) I decided on the Monster Lite 108" squat stand and I couldn't be happier. I also went with the fat/skinny bar, the side storage, Rogue Bar and HiTemp bumper (all great choices). I went with the 108" because I wanted to be able to hang when doing pull-ups (90" was too short) and I went with ML over Infinity because of the larger tubing (thought it would be sturdier with my weight). Shipping was quick and easy and so was assembly except that I needed assistance to mount the uprights and pull-up bar due to the height and weight of them. Also, some of the bolts and nuts were very tight and took some effort to put on and tighten down. I listened to other reviews and used the 15/16 socket and adjustable wrench, which worked great. Love the stand itself, which is made very well. Has satisfied all my needs. Note: I'm 6-01 and 225 and the rack has very little wobble when doing pull-ups (no weight on side storage) and with weights on the side storage it's rock solid. I would highly recommend this awesome stand!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from worth every penny I've admired Rogue's merchandise, but besides my Rogue bar and a a Dynamax medicine ball, I've never purchased a bigger ticket item. I looked at a number of stands, but couldn't escape the combination appeal or reputation and obvious quality work from Rogue despite the price tag being double some of my other well reviewed considerations. This thing is great. Adequately stable free standing and rock solid after the addition of a couple of 100 pound plates to the optional upright base storage. The plates were cheap off Craigslist. I opted for a single pullup bar and the spotter arms which I highly recommend. Small footprint, off the chart quality and cool to look at besides. Buy one!
