Adidas Leistung Weightlifting Shoe - Men's

An upgraded design of the Olympic weightlifting shoe used at the Rio Games, the Leistung 16.II by Adidas is equipped with a lockdown BOA closure system, steel laces, a rearfoot cradle, and a TPU midsole for next-level stability on the heaviest lifts. The 38mm heel height is optimized for Olympic snatch and clean and jerk movements, and a synthetic "Powerweave" upper offers unique comfort and breathability.

The German word "Leistung" literally translates to "Performance," and the Leistung 16.II is specifically engineered with the high-performance weightlifter in mind. Foundational strength + comfort + explosiveness.

The Adidas Leistung is available here in classic black-and-white. Choose your preferred size from the available options in the order menu.

Adidas Leistung 16.II Weightlifting Shoe is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic for oly Bought this under the recommendation of my oly coach and have zero regrets. The 1" heel drop helps keep me upright despite my ankle mobility issues. Solid arch support even for my super high arches. Had to buy a men's 9.5 since they don't make a women's version. Should have scaled down a half size. Solid shoe though for any lifter looking to improve stability in the hole or that have mobility issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely! So I have had this shoe for about a month and a half a half with only minor complaints. I do Olympic lifting full time with Antas(11.5) and Romaleo 1's(13) being my previous shoes, Leistung(12). Out the box and on my foot I noticed the higher heel (I think its around an inch) instantly. I'm a fan of it on squats due to my hip impingement I had a couple months ago, but it has taken some getting used to on cleans and snatches. The boa system in combination with standard lases is really nice and I don't have any issues with heel slippage or feeling stable. Ascetically I love the entire shoe. Can't say much on the quality for it has only been about two months but they seem to be holding up appropriately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really like the shoe I bought this to replace an old pair of Adidas Power Perfect II and also wanted to try a shoe with a higher heel. It took me about a month and a half to adjust to the higher heel and about the same time to really break in. Initially they were pretty tight (I trained barefoot in them) but the padding has moulded over time. That's probably the most useful info - the heavy padding does mould so it won't be as cushy the whole time. I'm happy about that, it's a well fitting shoe. I had a 9 in the PP2 (little larger than this shoe, felt narrower but longer) and wear a 9 in this shoe as well. A Romaleo 9 fit similarly I found, my feet are wider than most and haven't had an issue here. The textile is pretty pliable. I'm not convinced by the middle strap. The BOA thing works fine but I'd honestly prefer a regular up top strap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable I bought this show llast week and have done squats twice since. I do own a pair of Nike Romaleos 2 and like the higher heal better on the Adiidas. The shoe is also more comfortable walking around in the gym. My regular shoe shoe is a 12 and I ordered size 12 in this shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST new shoe out there!! I tried them all... with the exception of this shoe, I found all the 'new' models to be poorly made and really uncomfortable. This is the only pair I didn't want to instantly rip off my feet! Lifted in them for a week + and set 5 prs (probably coincidence, but hey, not gonna be upset with the prs!).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe for certain people This is a well built quality shoe. BOA system is very convenient and gives you a nice tight fit evenly throughout your foot as opposed to a strap. The 1 inch heel is really good for deep ATG olympic style back squats, front squats and the actual oly lifts and for people with mobility issues of course. If you squat low bar to parallel powerlifting style then this shoe might not be for you as it will probably cause you to tip forward too much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Highest heel I've squatted with. I've had these for about a week (got them on another site) and I can squat lower in these than my Adipowers or Powerlift 3's. I do feel like that height has a tendency to pitch me forward more than other shoes I've squatted in, but they're very stable on the floor and the boa system makes the fit a very nice one. I've given them a 4 star rating, because I simply love my Adipowers more, and they cost less.
