Product Description

Compatible with any Rogue Monster Series rig or rack (a Monster Lite version version is sold separately), the LT-1 50 CAL Trolley and Lever Arm Kit gives athletes the ability to quickly reconfigure a unit for a wide range of different movements, without the need of a wrench or other tools. We’ve put years of research and refinement into this product, looking to create an optimal mechanism that can attach to an existing 3x3” upright and enable easy north/south adjustments with lock-in stability. Version 2.0 improves upon the original design with a new look and several key upgrades, including numbered uprights, a more robust tensioning system, and easier installation. We’ve also added a secondary locking trigger for improved safety, and a key for locking the lever arms in the “down” position—turning them into functional uprights.

MONSTER Lite LT-1 50 CAL™ TROLLEY™ 2.0 & LEVER ARM KIT

PATENT PENDING DESIGN

Compatible with any Rogue Monster Lite rig or rack (a Monster version is sold separately), the LT-1 50 CAL Trolley and Lever Arm Kit gives athletes the ability to quickly reconfigure a unit for a wide range of different movements, without the need of a wrench or other tools. We’ve also added a key for locking the lever arms in the “down” position—turning them into functional uprights.

The Monster Lite LT-1 can be set-up to perform everything from incline bench presses to rack pulls, shrugs, squats, deadlifts, bent-over rows, snatches, and lunges. The trolley portion of the system includes 5/16” mounting brackets, (4) acetal rollers, and (2) texture black powdercoat handles, configured in a unique design inspired by the look of the Browning 50 Caliber Machine Gun used during World War II (a T-handle pop pin locks the mechanism into the uprights). To make adjustments, simply grasp the two handles and pull out the trigger to disengage the holes and set the trolley at the desired position on the upright. The trigger itself is spring loaded, so it snaps back into place at the selected height with the aid of a 5/8" machined pin.

The (2) Lever Arms are constructed from 3x3” 11-gauge steel with 5/8” holes and laser-cut numbering. They are available in two length options: 35” and 48”. An included 1/4” thick stainless steel key gives users the option of locking the arms in a “down” position and utilizing them as standard Monster Lite uprights.

Important: Only the 35” arms can be installed on the inside of a 43” depth rack. If the inside-depth of a rack is less than 43”, the LT-1 will need to be installed on the exterior of the rack.

The provided (2) weight posts each offer 10.5” of loadable length, and the (2) adjustable 1.25” diameter handle attachments are locked into place using a set of 5/8” detent pins.

Please Note: Standard barbell collars will not fit the sleeves on the Trolley loading pin - click here for compatible Axle collars.

MORE ON THE LEVER ARMS

1

2 SIZES TO CHOOSE FROM

The arms included with the LT-1 Kit are available in Standard (48") or Short (35") length, which you can select from the dropdown menu. The 35” arm might be preferable for customers who plan to (a) attach the trolley to a smaller upright or (b) want to use the arms on the inside of a rack (where the 48” arm would not be compatible).

2

CONSTRUCTION & FINISH

Each lever arm is made in the USA from 3x3” 11-gauge US steel and finished in our medium gloss black powder coat, with 5/8” holes and precision laser-cut numbering. There is a rubber bumper on the base of the arms to keep them from damaging the powder coat on your rack when they make contact with the upright.

3

Handles & Weight Posts

We’ve paired the lever arms with quick-attach 1.25” handles, finished in a texture black powder coat with multiple grip options. These handles attach using a set of included 5/8” detent pins. On the opposite side of each handle, plates can be loaded via a texture black weight post, with a loadable length of 10.5". The handle includes laser-cut Rogue branding in the channel.

Additional Features

1

MOVEABLE ATTACHMENT POINTS

Years in development, the LT-1 Trolley™ and Lever Arm Kit revolutionizes how athletes can reconfigure a Monster Lite Power Rack for a wide range of movements. Using the unique trolley handles, you can reposition the unit up and down along an upright (via 4 acetal rollers) to your preferred height, then lock it quickly into place using the simple 5/8" detent pin. As a new feature with Version 2.0, the lever arms can also now be locked in the “down” position using an included stainless steel key; when J-cups are added, athletes can utilize the arms just like standard Monster Lite uprights in this position.

2

QUALITY ROGUE MANUFACTURING

All key components of the LT-1 Kit are manufactured in Columbus, Ohio with US steel and held to Rogue’s premium standard. This includes 3x3” 11-gauge steel lever arms, acetal rollers, 5/16” thick steel mounting brackets, and precision machined handles for both the trolley and arms. Bronze bushings at the hinge point of the trolley ensure smooth movement, and rubber bumpers (at the base of the arms) keep your uprights’ finish protected as you train. The kit includes laser-cut Rogue branding, MG and Texture Black finishes, and a handle and trigger design inspired by the vintage look of the Browning 50 Cal used during WWII. The updated two-piece design of the trolley makes for easier installation compared to the original model.

Not worth the price
I bought this with hopes of adding variety to our personal training studio. I'm very good at putting equipment together but one of the arms never fit quite right. I contacted rogue about this and they said to keep adjusting the set screws. I did many times but it wouldn't naturally slide and lock into place. I had to use the orange pins to keep it in place and hold the arm up to actually use it (which are very heavy). After a year of being overly frustrated with the product, I finally removed it and it sits in storage now.

Great addition for home gym.
Deadlifts, bent over rows, shoulder press and much more. Obviously the range of motion may vary, but if you need to pull, or push heavy with out fearing that the arms will give in; this is the addition you need.

Terrible
High recommend saving your money. The hassle to move these products into the right position, need for tools to remove safety straps, lack of locking positions and the side-to-side play make them way more trouble than their worth.

Expanded my workouts
Rogues lever arms are well crafted, 4 stars because the trolley is not stainless steel and doesn't have the same build as the monster series. Not sure why they did that but it's still the best lever arm a company makes. Added likely a dozen movements to my workouts.

Incredible piece of hardware; great flexibility
I just purchased these lever arms and I’m so glad I found them. They are an incredible piece of hardware - very heavy and solid, incredibly easy to set up (with one issue noted below), and impressively flexible in terms of the number of exercises you can perform. Like I’m sure many others, I looked at other more affordable options before settling on the Rogue. What swayed me to spend 2-4x the amount vs. other options? First is the quality of the construction. If you read other reviews, you will see comments on the poor welding, the ‘wobble’ and other issues they have with them. Second, is the ease with which you can adjust these lever arms vs. how others have to be removed (being careful not to pinch a finger in the process). This is a ‘game changer’ to me. Super simple to adjust these lever arms up or down, plus extremely solid with impressive size of pins and other connecting hardware. The only issue I have so far is that one of the handles that connects to the pulley arm had the pin installed backwards. In essence, you connect the lower part of the handle onto the pulley arm with a pin that is solid on one end and has a washer and screw on the other end. Unfortunately, mine had the long screw connected on the inside of the handle. As a result, I couldn’t actually get it to install on the pulley arm (as you need the pin pulled out further than is possible). See photo to see what I mean.

Great Potential, But Far From Great
I bought these around Thanksgiving and received them just after Christmas. Set up was simple enough, but definitely requires 2 people or additional forethought. The parts are rather heavy and awkward to assemble. Once getting them assembled, however, I have had an extremely difficult time getting the trolley's 'dialed in.' Getting them slide smoothly, fit the safety pin holes, and the safety bar is nearly impossible. The 4 carriage bolts that hold the front and back together need to be tight, but not too tight. There is no torque spec in the directions, but if they are off, the trolleys are not square to the rack posts. I have tried torquing them to 10 ft/lbs & 15 ft/lbs but neither seems to allow the safety pin to slide in through the rack post smoothly. I also had one handle that was really loose and one that was nice and snug. Between the handles and the pivot pin at the top of the handles, the whole apparatus is very loose (unlike in the promo videos here). I have tried tightening things up, but then the motion is severely stiff. Rogue has been working with me on the handle issues, but after a couple shipments (2 new handles, and one whole new trolley arm) I still do not have a new solid set up. I am still hopeful that Rogue can fix my set up, but after almost 2 months of back and forth, and 2 months of use, I thought a review as warranted. Given these arms cost almost as much as an entry level rack, I would not recommend them at this time.
Pin will not fit.

Great piece of equipment!
But please ask R&D to look at putting a lockable swivel on the trolley so that you can some lateral movement of the arms. I think this would go a long way to increasing natural range of motion. The swivel could be lockable so that the motion would be as it is now, or locked at different angles and there could be stoppers on either end so that the lateral swivel ovement isn't unrestrained. Maybe 45° of play would be nice. I think that would make this piece so much more functional.

Versatile
Purchased these a few months ago. I use them in almost every workout. My only con would be that they can scratch the finish on your rack when moving the trolleys up/down.
