Nike Metcon 4 - Men's
Burgundy Crush / Light Cream-Dune Red

Nike’s most durable cross-training shoe yet, the Metcon 4 is equally equipped for speed, grip, explosiveness, and stability. This design introduces an updated, reinforced textured print from toe to heel; an increase to six eyelets for better precision lacing; and a new array of color combinations.

With a drop-in midsole, low-profile rubber heel, and exclusive Flywire technology, Metcons deliver a lockdown fit and a dependable flat platform foundation for heavy lifts. The shoe’s molded flex grooves, light breathable construction, and sticky rubber forefoot also give an athlete added pivot-grip and support through sprints, rope climbs, box jumps, distance runs, sled training, and day-to-day abuse.

An abrasion-resistant film around the midfoot is critical to reducing heat and friction during a high octane training regimen, while the Metcon’s dependable traction performs on the gym floor, the track, and training grounds far off the beaten path.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid but not too rigid. I think the 4’s have great durability with a little more flex in the toe than my 2’s did. They’ve been perfect for strength training and things like jump roping. I’m on my feet all day and these have worked out very well so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit, very comfortable First pair of MetCons after being a Reebok loyalist for years. The Nikes fit better, feel better on lifts, runs, and metcon, and (IMO) look better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing stability I bought this a month ago from the uk and delivery was pleasingly quick. The shoe itself feelsa very high quality and gives great stability doing any olympic lifts, also find them very comfortable rowing and the sole grips a rope nice and tight for climbs over all a 10/10

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but worth the money? I’ve had my eye on metcons for the past few years but this was the first time I pulled the trigger. Had them for about a month now and I do like them. They feel very stable thanks to the flat bottom. Reasonably light weight- not sure if this will effect the durability or not. The one thing I haven’t liked so far is the removable insole. It seems to lift a little in the back when I move. It makes noise sometimes due to the movement. This could break in more over time though. Overall, a great shoe. But is it worth $130? You decide.
