Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Weightlifting Shoes but minor defect The nano 5.0 is a good shoe and I use it throughout all of my WOD's, however after the second or third use the material near the toe box stated to peel away from the mesh on both the inner and outer portions of the shoe. Although it may have been just a bad batch, I am going to move over to the metcon 3's

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way to wide in the toe I absolutely love the way these shoes look, however, & could only wear them for a few WOD's. My feet literally slid side to side in these shoes. They are way too wide.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Just bought these. They are what's right for weightlifting. Having done natural bodybuilding as a hobby for almost thirty years I've worn sneakers, work boots and been barefooted. Now in my early fifties I needed something to continue what I love and was suggested these by a store dealer. Excellent feel. Now I can focus more on the mind / muscle connection in safety. Thanks Reebok.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So comfortable! Before this shoe I had terrible knee pain, but not anymore! The heel feels amazing, the soft sole and outer edge makes them feel great. They're awesome wear around shoes as well. I have recommended them to many friends!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for lifting I got these as a Christmas gift from the wife, and really loved them. It does narrow out towards the toes and seemed a little uncomfortable for my wider feet, but after breaking them in they feel great. Love the stiff platform on the heels and helps a lot during lifts, not so much for running or quick movements. Really wish some guy didn't smash my car window and steal my gym bag and shoes, but I'm definitely going to get another pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shoe This shoe is the best shoe I've ever had the pleasure of owning. The fit is pretty good. Depending on the cut of your foot mainly the degree of the curve on the outside by your pinky toe you may or may not experience some discomfort. But that's only due to the shoe being reinforced with Kevlar which isn't engineered around the notion to be comfortable. The shoe is a normal width and doesn't dig into any part of my foot. It even feels good with me having somewhat flat feet too. The first half of the forefoot from toe to midfoot is supportive yet flexible enough to allow extension when doing movements that involve toe off, i.e. cleans, snatches, calf raises. From the midfoot to the feel it's more of a powerlifting shoe fit. the heel is solid but has the right amount of flexibility for you not to destroy your knees or ankles when landing to catch a lift. They keep you stable on jumps as well, I just prefer to use my Nano 4.0's for high impact exercises. The comfort is good as well. It's not designed to be a plush ride so if that's what you're looking for look elsewhere. But if you want a shoe that supports you on your big lifts and low impact movements that require you to have a stable base then this shoe is right up that alley. I do Oly lifts and powerlift in these as well as low impact metcons and it holds its own and then some. I don't run in these at all because they aren't really designed for that in my opinion. For running I simply switch over into my Nano 4.0's. All in all this shoe has proven to be tied for the best exercising shoe I have (tied with the Nano 4.0's). You'll be supported, don't have to worry about the shoe falling apart, and get more than your money's worth out of this shoe. Can't beat a versatile shoe that performs above average in all the departments.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hated at first Disclosure: purchased directly from reebok.com I really hated this shoe the first week of use. Like most reebok shoes, the 13's are too small and I swim in the 14's. I went w/ 14 because I'd rather have a little more room than my toes mashing the ends during jumps and movements. If I would have written the review the first week I would have given no stars, but after breaking these in they've become pretty darn comfortable. I don't think I'd use them for anything other than lifting sessions w/ light cross work, they're just too stiff for quick movement. I think that's why Reebok released the Crossfit Speed TR. So, for the right application, I recommend this shoe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Nano 3 was much better. I loved the Nano 3. The 5 is less flexible and has a much stiffer heel back that runs against the Achilles. Definitely not as comfortable.
