Product Description

Compatible with any Rogue Monster Series rig or rack (a Monster Lite version version is sold separately), the LT-1 50 CAL Trolley and Lever Arm Kit gives athletes the ability to quickly reconfigure a unit for a wide range of different movements, without the need of a wrench or other tools. We’ve put years of research and refinement into this product, looking to create an optimal mechanism that can attach to an existing 3x3” upright and enable easy north/south adjustments with lock-in stability. Version 2.0 improves upon the original design with a new look and several key upgrades, including numbered uprights, a more robust tensioning system, and easier installation. We’ve also added a secondary locking trigger for improved safety, and a key for locking the lever arms in the “down” position—turning them into functional uprights.

MONSTER LT-1 50 CAL™ TROLLEY™ 2.0 & LEVER ARM KIT

Patented Design

The LT-1 can be set-up to perform everything from incline bench presses to rack pulls, shrugs, squats, deadlifts, bent-over rows, snatches, and lunges. The trolley portion of the system includes 5/16” mounting brackets, (4) acetal rollers, and (2) stainless steel knurled handles, configured in a unique “trigger” design inspired by the look of the Browning 50 Caliber Machine Gun used during World War II. Simply grasp the two handles and pull out the machined aluminum trigger to disengage the holes and set the trolley at the desired position on the upright. The trigger itself is spring loaded, so it snaps back into place at the selected height with the aid of a 1" machined pin. As noted, a secondary independent locking trigger—new with Version 2.0—is included for added safety.

The (2) Lever Arms are constructed from 3x3” 11-gauge steel with laser-cut numbering, and are available in two length options: 35” and 48”. An included 1/4” thick stainless steel key gives users the option of locking the arms in a “down” position and utilizing them as standard Monster uprights.

Important: Only the 35” arms can be installed on the inside of a 43” depth rack. If the inside-depth of a rack is less than 43”, the LT-1 will need to be installed on the exterior of the rack.

The provided (2) weight posts each offer 12” of loadable length, and the (2) adjustable 1.25” diameter handle attachments are locked into place using a set of included Monster Knurled Knobs (these knobs do NOT have a locking feature, and thus should be checked prior to each use—a knob could potentially be loosened more quickly under dynamic movements).

Optional Lever Arm Handle Attachments:
Customers can choose either a set of standard Neutral Grip Handles, or at added cost, can upgrade to our AH-1 Articulating Handles. Due to their unique hinging / swiveled design, the barbell-style AH-1 handles (Knurled Stainless Steel) enable a more natural travel path for performing deadlifts, bent over rows, overhead press, bench press, and other traditional exercises.

Please Note: Standard barbell collars will not fit the sleeves on the Trolley loading pin - use compatible Axle collars such as OSO Mighty Axle Collars.

2 SIZES TO CHOOSE FROM

The arms included with the LT-1 Kit are available in Standard (48") or Short (35") length, which you can select from the dropdown menu. The 35” arm might be preferable for customers who plan to (a) attach the trolley to a shorter upright or (b) want to use the arms on the inside of a rack (where the 48” arm would not be compatible).

CONSTRUCTION & FINISH
2

CONSTRUCTION & FINISH

Each lever arm is made in the USA from 3x3” 11-gauge US steel and finished in our medium gloss black powder coat, with precision laser-cut numbering. There is a rubber bumper on the base of the arms to keep them from damaging the powder coat on your rack when they make contact with the upright.

Handles & Weight Posts
3

Handles & Weight Posts

We’ve paired the lever arms with quick-attach 1.25” handles, finished in a texture black powder coat with multiple grip options. These handles attach like J-cups, as a pin is inserted and the channel of the handle swings down. The handle is then locked into place using a black zinc finished knurled knob, which includes acetal washers on each side. UHMW plastic is included inside the channel of the handle to keep the finish of the arms protected. On the opposite side of the handle, plates can be loaded via an uncoated stainless steel weight post, with a loadable length of 12". The handle includes laser-cut Rogue branding in the channel. An upgrade to our AH-1 Articulating Handle Kit is also available.

MOVEABLE ATTACHMENT POINTS

Years in development, the LT-1 Trolley™ and Lever Arm Kit revolutionizes how athletes can reconfigure a Monster Power Rack for a wide range of movements. Using the knurled, stainless steel trolley handles, you can reposition the unit up and down an upright (via 4 acetal rollers) to your preferred height, then lock it quickly into place using the simple 1" Detent Pin.

QUALITY ROGUE MANUFACTURING

All key components of the LT-1 Kit are manufactured in Columbus, Ohio with US steel and held to Rogue’s premium standard. This includes 3x3” 11-gauge steel lever arms, acetal rollers, 5/16” thick steel mounting brackets, and precision machined handles for both the trolley and arms. Bronze bushings at the hinge point of the trolley ensure smooth movement, and rubber bumpers (at the base of the arms) keep your uprights’ finish protected as you train. The kit includes laser-cut Rogue branding, MG and Texture Black finishes, and a handle and trigger design inspired by the vintage look of the Browning 50 Cal used during WWII. The updated two-piece design of the trolley makes for easier installation compared to the original model.

Versatile Options to Enhance Workout
I've using short lever arms mounted inside my Monster RM-4 Rack for over two years. I recently upgraded from the standard handles to the Articulating Handles. That's a game changer. I have a relatively small frame and I could never get a natural feel to many of the movements using the standard handles. The grip options seemed too wide or at the wrong angle at the wrong time. That limited what I wanted to use them for. With the new articulating handles, the motions have a smoother, more natural feel. Like other Rogue built gear, the build is heavy duty, well engineered, and user-friendly adjustments. Although these don't replace my Olympic bar, they do represent a change of pace and more workout options. They also don't get in the way for other Rack exercises.

Weight Sleeve on the Handles
If I would've known that I would need another pair of 80 dollar collars specifically for this product, I probably would've went a different route. The sleeve are too small and regular collars slide off. However, the lever arms are useful for multiple different workouts, even leg presses.

Maximum Use with Some Creativity
I read numerous reviews on these lever arms, including all the customer reviews, before deciding to invest in them. First, a comment on installation since I'm always curious about that myself: installation was rather straightforward even with only one person; Rogue did a good job on the instruction sheets with my only complaint being they didn't include the hex tools for some of the bolts on these levers, which given the price is really an expectation (though you can manage with slight difficulty to affix the grip trolley to the beams with one person even if some of the bolts require a little jiggling for proper alignment). For the equipment itself, it's customarily well-built with some minor inconveniences like others mentioned with the weight sleeves requiring axle collars instead of normal collars and some minor wobble to the movements (though it doesn't really detract from proper form or become bothersome). That being the case, this whole product is really ideal for those willing to invest some time with configurations. I like to view these as kind of the weightlifter's Lego set with really your own creativity expanding the number of movements you can accomplish with just the lever arms, bands, or weights. I recommend you watch several Youtube videos that really demonstrate the versatility of these lever arms. I have already used them as monolifts (with J-cups attached) that are better than the standalone Rogue monolifts for the increased range they can swing out; deadlifts; incline press; shrugs; and the list goes on. So if you are the type of lifter who gets excited by devising your own movements or variations on traditional movements, this is really the equipment for you. There are minor limitations with the weight sleeves, the lack of a full set of installation tools, and the stiffness of the articulating handles to start with (they loosen up over tome, but even then may not be to everyone's tastes), all of which caused me to deduct a star. Overall though, given that these are a luxury item for most, I definitely recommend them for people who do the the research first and enjoy thinking a bit outside the box. Personally, they have made me look forward to approaching some exercises that had gotten a little stale over time or just creating new variations.

We are getting rid of these
We've had these for two years in our gym, and no one uses them because they are too heavy and hard to move. The pins don't come out easily and the clips slip off because the bars are too smoothe. We gave it two years, and now we're getting rid the the lever arms.

Love them but
I have had the short arms for a couple weeks and absolutely love them. However I’ve discovered that the weights just won’t stay on and you have to adjust sometimes during a set. You would think that with the cost of the arms at over a grand they would at least throw in a set of spring collars or something. I’ve now been trying to justify spending yet another 40 dollars for collars that apparently don’t have great reviews.

Smart design, but frustrating to adjust
I bought my Rogue lever arms about a month ago. Initially had issues with the safety stop key not fitting, so Rogue sent a replacement trolley. They were very responsive and accommodating. As for the lever arms themselves, there is a lot of potential for all the different exercises you can do, but it takes way too long to adjust them and find the perfect angles for different exercises. I've wasted 30 min or more just trying to get them to the right angle. Plus, you may need to get additional equipment for different exercises - Like say a utility seat for a leg press variation. Also, these arms are much heavier than other options out there. The adjustable trolley system is smart, and would be convenient if it would actually lock into place consistently. But when it won't align with the holes and lock in, it gets heavy quick. I've tried tightening everything and making sure everything is aligned, which helps for a bit, but after a few uses, it is back to not locking into place. Typically, I've had to jiggle it and hope it locks in. One big issue visually is that the black paint/coating on the lever arms scratches off easily just from removing/adjusting the handles that are included. Of course this is hidden when you have the handles attached, but if you were to use them at a different spot, or use other attachments, those scratches are pretty obvious. There's definitely a lot of potential here, but needs improvement to be reliable.

Not worth the price
I bought this with hopes of adding variety to our personal training studio. I'm very good at putting equipment together but one of the arms never fit quite right. I contacted rogue about this and they said to keep adjusting the set screws. I did many times but it wouldn't naturally slide and lock into place. I had to use the orange pins to keep it in place and hold the arm up to actually use it (which are very heavy). After a year of being overly frustrated with the product, I finally removed it and it sits in storage now.

Great addition for home gym.
Deadlifts, bent over rows, shoulder press and much more. Obviously the range of motion may vary, but if you need to pull, or push heavy with out fearing that the arms will give in; this is the addition you need.
