Virtually perfect
The rack lived up to all of my lofty expectations. It's tall, deep, sturdy, and imposing. The aspects of the Fortis that make it more of a value (welded together, only available in black, etc.) are actually positives in my book, so it was like winning twice. I was able to get the entire thing in my house and into the basement myself; stairs got a bit scratched, but even the Mona Lisa is falling apart. Setup was a breeze--four bolts and it's together! The one thing I might encourage other purchasers to consider is upgrading the pin and pipe safeties. They are HEAVY and not the easiest to move around, even for a strong person. Setup tips: -If you can, have someone help you with the panels if you're putting this in a basement. It's do-able if your impatient, but it's not easy. -The panels might need a little help standing upright while you attach the crossmember. Pinch it in with some plates and it should stay put. Once you get the crossmember into both panels, you're basically home free. -One of the holes on the foot plate is under the bottom crossmember, so you won't be able to reach it with a drill. No problem, though. Make your marks, slide it over, drill your holes, and attach (just get the bolts started so that you can still reposition and find all your marks).

Sturdy
This thing is worth every cent, went together very easy. I haven’t even bolted it down yet, just set it on a rubber mat and it doesn’t move at all. Even when throwing around 405. 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing rack!
I purchased my rack about 3 years ago and extremely pleased. I did receive mine with minor cosmetic issues from shipping but it didn’t bother me none. One issue I do have is that I’m quite tall and I’m always hitting the top of rack while performing overhead presses. No big deal I just do them outside. I do recommend to bolt down the rack and make ABSOLUTELY sure where you want to bolt down the rack because it is very difficult to move this to a different location even with 2 people. My other recommendation is upgrading those pin and pipe safeties, they will damage your expensive bar. Maybe contacting rogue if you can upgrade the safeties by paying the difference if they allow it. I threw mine away to replace them with the straps. Lastly you might also want to upgrade the jcups for the same reason. If you keep going back to view this rack, don’t think about it and just get it, you won’t be disappointed especially for the price.

Two racks in one
When I bought this rack nearly two years ago it was for occasional use because I was training in a gym. Since last March my wife and I have been training together in the garage. The depth of this rack makes it perfect for training with a partner. It will easily accommodate two loaded barbells at the same time inside the rack. With an extra pair of hooks two people can squat or bench heavy inside the rack or set up on the outside front or back. It does take up more space than a 24" or 30" depth rack but for us it is doing the work of two racks in a lot less space and for a lot less money. The more we train on this rack the more we love it. I hope Rogue will start making these again soon for all the training partners out there.

Sturdy, Excellent Quality. Great Value
I've used a lot of power racks over the years. Its pretty safe to say when I had a gym membership that I would typically spend all my time on one. They are such a versatile piece of equipment. I bought this rack about 4 years ago, and its by far the best value for the money. However, if I had it to do over again I would buy the more expensive modular design. The one limitation that's a real downer is the height. I'm a big person" tall "with really long arms and when doing standing overhead presses I make contact with the frame while inside the rack. Its not a huge deal;I can do them from the outside, but I wish it was something I had thought about before buying it. Also, I have had to move this thing several times by myself, moving the sides can be a pain. Having something that would breakdown a little further would have been nice. Also looking back you can buy the add on for the half rack with additional storage later when you figure out how much more convenient it would be. My suggestion go ahead and spend the extra $ for the additional nice to haves.

The Best Rack
This is the best rack I've ever used anywhere, and it's in my own garage. It's probably sturdier than the bolt together versions, and it's cheaper. It is solid when not bolted to the floor, but do yourself a favor and bolt it to the floor. If anyone has an engineering background they will tell you closed torsional sections are much stronger than open ones, and bolting the rack down is essentially closing the the rack. It becomes a lot more rigid and stable when bolted. I used screw-in concrete anchors, a hammer drill with a masonry bit, and an impact wrench.

Great rack great customer service
Purchase about a month ago. Great rack. Everything I expected and more. Be of the boxes came damaged from UPS and items missing but customer service rectified immediately. 2nd rack I’ve purchased from rogue as myself and older kids train in garage. Both racks have been exceptional.
