Rogue Slice Sled

The Rogue Slice Sled is a dual-capability push/pull weight sled that combines quality steel construction and durability with fold-flat, stackable storage.

The Slice Sled is Rogue’s first steel speed sled with dual push/drag capability AND a convenient fold-down weight post. The unit comes standard with two 40” upright push handles—the same as found on our popular Dog Sled and the fold-flat weight post is carried over from our Fat Boy, and E Sleds. With a laser-cut hole, sled strap, and carabiner also included, the Slice Sled has few rivals for versatility, and makes a great option for gyms serving multiple athletes of varying skill levels.

Each sled weighs 65 LBS unloaded, and includes a 14” bolt-on center post with a load capacity of well over 300 LBS depending on the types of plates used. Customers also have the option to add a set of 1/2" thick UHMW plastic skis to their order. When bolted to the underside of the Slice Sled, these skis can greatly reduce the risk of damage to your gym flooring when using the sled indoors.

What Sets it Apart

  • 1Maximum Versatility

The hybrid design of the Slice Sled erases the notion that portable, storage-friendly sleds limit an athlete’s training options. With a set of uprights and a laser-cut hole for a carabiner and sled strap (included standard with order), this unit is ready-on-delivery for both pushing and dragging exercises on a wide range of surfaces.

  • 2Fold-Flat Post

We have utilized the same convenient fold-down weight post from our Fat Boy and E Sleds to create the first Rogue push/pull sled built for stackable storage. Trainers and coaches regularly transporting or storing multiple sleds will particularly benefit from this innovation. The 14” weight post bolts on to the sled’s base and has a load capacity topping 300 LBS, depending on the type of plates used.

  • 3Quality Steel Construction

Manufactured in Columbus, Ohio, the Slice Sled is constructed from laser-cut and formed 1/4” thick plate steel with our trademark texture black powdercoat finish. This solid one-piece construction gives it a unique combination of durability and compactness, with a total footprint of just 27.5” x 22.75”.

  • 4Part of the Rogue Sled Series

The Slice Sled functions as a hybrid of several of our existing weight sleds, and as a result, can complement a gym’s existing sleds or serve as introduction to the Rogue series. Similar products include the Dog Sled, which offers push/pull capability with the addition of multiple attachments for a more diverse training regimen. The S-35 “E” Sled, meanwhile, is a good dragging option with even greater portability.

  • 5Optional Skis for Floor Protection

Customers have the option to add a set of 1/2" thick UHMW plastic skis to their order. When bolted to the underside of the Slice Sled, these skis can greatly reduce the risk of damage to your gym flooring when using the sled indoors.

  • 6Rogue Shipping

Rogue prides itself on fast, professional shipping, often with same-day turnaround times. Your Slice Sled ships efficiently via UPS ground with some minimal assembly required. You can follow the progress of your order from our factory floor to your door using the online Rogue Shipping Tracker.

Rogue Slice Sled is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Foreseeable Problem Its a great sled for garage or gym. Compacts to super small and doesn't have a big footprint. I wanted this sled so I could push and pull. I no longer by sleds without PVC skids......The skids will wear unevenly. The eyelet for the pull should be on the same side as the upright so you can wear the skids down in both directions, not just the same every time. It'll lessen the life of the skids. Design flaw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect sled for home Usually when you buy anything In life, there is a give and take (I.e. If you want a bigger car, you give up gas mileage, etc). Not with this sled. It does everything. It is small and compact enough to be stored much easier than most push sleds, but still plenty beefy enough to make a great push sled. (And pull sled) I agree with an earlier reviewer that it is beefier than it appears. I have owned a dog sled from rogue before but it was so heavy it was a pain to move it in and out of my garage. This thing solves that. Basically an awesome piece of equipment at a very reasonable price. Just get it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantatsic! The Slice Sled is the perfect final addition to my home business garage gym. I needed something small and mighty. Rogue products never disappoint! I plan to use this on the road and driveway- so I got the plastic attachments. however, it also slides very nicely on my gym mats. For the winter months when we are stuck inside, I'll consider buying a new plastic kit to switch out for indoor use. thanks Rogue! Can't wait for tomorrow!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Much beefier than it appears If you're after a pull sledI don't know why you'd get anything else. This gives the option of pushing, too while still being compact and portable. Note, though, if you have ever used a portable drag sled you'll be surprised how much beefier this is. I've always wanted a sled but the other push sleds are too big for my garage. Love how this is collapsible and tucks away. My kids put it to use immediately. I added the plastic runners and that's the only reason for a 4-star rating. The screws included were 1/4" too short and barely grabbed the nut. I had to make a trip to the hardware store to replace them. Really not a big deal but is a slight quality control issue with Rogue that should be noted if I'm giving an honest review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sled Very happy. Only issue was I opted out of buying a full sled harness. This is a must. The arm straps are awkward. The sled overall is awesome and very easy to load into a car for park workouts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Sled, Just Not for Pushing On Soft Ground Works great for pulling on soft ground with medium height grass but not for pushing because the corners on the sides of the upturned skid tips dig into the dirt, even when pushing from the approximately one third of the way up the poles to minimize the nose-down moment. When dragging the sled, the upward vector from the strap keeps the tip up out of the dirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect sled for my garage gym I have used the butcher sled at my gym, but when it came time to buy one for home, the slice sled was the way to go. You can attach the strap and pull the sled one interval, then quickly and easily unhook the careener and push it for the next. The dog sled has the same capability, but the slice is also very compact and easy to store without taking up much space. The center post folds down, the uprights come right out, and I can stand it against the wall of my garage with a very small footprint. I bought the plastic skis, and the sled is very quiet as a result. I use it in my driveway, the street in front of my house, and at a nearby park with a long asphalt path, and this doesn't bother anybody with the noise. As with any sled, you get an incredible workout with this. My posterior chain gets killed when I push, and putting on the strap is a great workout to get a high intensity cardio workout. Great price + 3 ships free = a great deal and PAIN for me when I use it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You Can`t Beat It! I have the E Sled , I picked it up a few years ago. I really enjoyed the E sled ,but I`m about to sell it. The Slice is the way to go. You get two sleds in one. 20mins of sled pulling ,then 20mins of sled pushing. Trust me, there is no workout like it. This sled is sold . I use it outdoors in a parking lot and it is holding up well. I like to wipe the bottom down and spray a little WD40 on it. It cuts down on the friction.
