Acrobatics for Dancers – Strength Magazine – Marc, 1926

Dancing, in the past few years, has made wonderful strides. Immense interest in it has arisen throughout America, both as a means of recreation and as a profession which is bulking larger all the time in theatricals and other amusements. The great difficulty of creating anything new in dancing has caused the dancers to turn to stunts; otherwise dancing would soon become monotonous, especially on the vaudeville stage and in theatricals in general. The result is that many are now taking up acrobatic training.
