As concerns physical efficiency, there can hardly be a matter of greater import than the subject of perfect digestion. A normal state of health is greatly dependent upon economy of the digestive processes; indeed, a weakened condition of other organs and processes may, for an indefinite period, be tolerated, providing the function of distributing nourishment is carried on in a normal manner.
