What’s Wrong With Your Nerves? – Strength Magazine – June, 1925

What are the causes of “nerves”? That question can be summed up in three points: disease, malnutrition and “just nerves.” With disease this article can necessarily have nothing to do. A reputable physician should be consulted if the person suspects that there is a disease which can account for their nervousness. Oftentimes when the nerves are crying out for the proper food men and women resort to prayer, when in a case of malnutrition the person affected should be on speaking terms with a good dietitian. All the will power, all the prayers that were ever mad’e will not help a case where food is needed.
