Save Your Knees

When Tommy Kono developed the knee bands in the mid- 1960s, he called them "T.K. Knee Bands" and many of the great lifters of that era began using them while they trained.

Today, Tommy Kono's original design is available once again! These knee bands will help keep the joint stable during your workout. T.K. Bands also keep your knee joints warmed up; you'll find your knees sweating and they will still feel well-lubricated after you take these bands off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long time wearear I've had these knee bands for over 3 years, I take care of them by washing regularly and put them on inside out as you should. make sure they fit tight! Excellent support and keep knees very warm. Only complaint is they will bunch behind the knee but its not bad common for support sleeves; the overall style/look isn't as cool as rehband/rocktape by comparison. doing lunges and any number of squat movements these provide amazing support. Price is fair, almost half of rocktape/rehband...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Support for Strength Programs I went with this pair of knee supports after a couple of friends in the powerlifting community recommended them. Since having purchased them in December 2013, I have PR'd every squat variation, as well as, my Olympic lifts wearing them. I would highly recommend them myself to anyone planning on entering a strength program, however, don't get your hopes up if you're looking to purchase these for everyday WOD's. While I also used mine for a significant amount of WOD's, to include a high volume of training during this year's Open, you will find your self adjusting them between rounds (as with any knee sleeve). Not enough to really slow you down, but a consideration. As far as durability, mine finally tore (as others have complained about) in July after 8 months of brutal abuse. Hand washing them every few days (I typically workout twice-a-day, six days a week) and allowing them to air dry, applying chalk before putting them on, and putting them on the correct way will prevent tears, in my opinion. Worth the $40.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great for the knees, but don't last. They definitely helped my knees, but once I started to sweat they would slide down and I had to keep pulling them back up. After few months one of them tore at the seam. As much as I liked them I don't think I can afford to keep buying a pair every 4 months.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Do not stay in place I am 120 lb, so I bought size "Small". My knees love them. Unfortunately I do not. The bands slide down shortly after I begin my work out. I have to pull them up constantly! I will try to turn them inside out. Maybe it will work, and the bands will stay in place better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great while they lasted The bands were great at first. Definitely took away some minor knee pain. They stayed secure on my knee longer and provided a good amount of compression. However, after about 2 months one of the bands tore at the seem and the other actually started to tear within the material. I would recommend these if you are ok with buying new ones every few months.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from quality I bought these roughly 2 months ago. I Olympic lift 4-6 days a week and only use them for those purposes. I also take really good care of my stuff making sure to clean them after use. They are extremely difficult to put on and only stay on up until you start to sweat a lot. Then they gradually make there way down your leg. Also the product ripped on me last night during a squat. So If you want something reliable for about a month then i would recommend this product to you.
