Rogue Squat Wedge

Thank you for reaching out so quickly and for offering to make things right. After taking a much closer look at the construction of the wedge, however, I believe I owe Rogue a correction rather than the other way around. When I first inspected the underside, I noticed that the two internal gussets appeared to have relatively short weld beads along only one side of their interface with the deck, with no corresponding weld along the opposite side. Combined with the distinct metal-on-metal clinking I could hear when picking up and repositioning the wedge, I initially concluded that I might be looking at incomplete welds or insufficiently secured gussets. After examining the assembly much more carefully, including the top surface of the deck, I realized that I had misunderstood the fabrication method. The gussets appear to use a tab-and-slot construction: tabs on the gussets pass through laser-cut slots in the deck, mechanically locating and interlocking the components, with the welds then securing the assembly. In other words, what I initially interpreted as potentially incomplete welding appears to be an intentional part of the design. I also believe I have identified the likely source of the clinking. There is necessarily some clearance between the tabs and their mating slots for assembly and fit-up, and the unwelded portions of those interfaces appear capable of making slight metal-on-metal contact when the wedge is picked up or its orientation changes. The gussets themselves appear rigid, and I cannot find any evidence of a cracked weld, failed joint, or structural movement. Unfortunately, I submitted my review before I fully understood what I was looking at. I have since tried to find a way to edit or delete the review but haven’t been able to locate that option. Is there a way for me to revise it, remove it, or have Rogue remove it so that I can submit a corrected review? I take product reviews seriously, particularly when they concern workmanship, and I don’t want to leave a negative review standing when my criticism appears to have resulted from my misunderstanding of the fabrication method. Your immediate response and offer to address the issue only reinforce my positive experience with Rogue. So, in this case, I think I need to make things right with Rogue—not the other way around. Great squat wedges! Overbuilt and no feelings of unsteadiness whatsoever. These things stay put fantastically.

Heavy duty squat wedge! I got the 15 degree full diamond plated wedge. I have always been someone who needs a little heel elevation to get a good squat and this delivers. I use it with traditional barbell squats, body weight squats, or kettlebell squats. I do wish I went with the 10 degree instead of the 15 degree because it seems a bit too angled but is still perfectly fine. I’d recommend not going past 15 degrees unless you’re doing some hack squat focused stuff. Overall, it’s a solid wedge and wouldn’t waste my money on other wedges. Get this one!

As a personal trainer, these wedges are essential to both my clients and I for a complete leg workout. They greatly change the focus of the muscle group and for some, required for full knee flexion. Rogue has designed not only holes to mount cleanly onto my rack when not in use but also big holes as handles to not only easily grab them, but also reduce weight! Bravo.

Perfect for my home gym. Would be a pain to put in gym bag but easy enough to carry to public gym. M f'er is sturdy. Doesn't try and slide on my floor so i feel safe.

Perfect! Squats and stretching perfection. Yes you can use plates but this is so much more comfortable and stable. As always rogue build is second to none.

I have purchased the 30 inch single one piece wedge and I highly recommend this for yourself and especially if you are like me and have multiple fan members that do squats. Way better option than buying three of four pairs and weight lifting shoes like Nike romaleos for example. This wedge is 15 degrees angle and it really helps two of my boys that have ankle mobility issues when doing squats. It also helps my wife that has two metal plates and thirteen screws in one of her ankles from a motorcycle accident we were in a few years ago. This wedge is a blessing to them as well as me. They are now able to perform squats and I don’t have to hangs out my shoes. I am going to be adding a 20 degree 30 inch single wedge in the future. Build quality is signature ROGUE quality the welds are solid and the diamond texture foot plate is rock solid. I am 6.2ft tall my name is Robert I am Annabelle’s husband and everyone including myself have plenty of room for different foot placements. The only reason this is not a five star review is what appears to be a welding mishap / blemish. I hope ROGUE sees this and quality controls these products a bit better. There’s just one area a weld most likely did not need to be done that came through. Pictures might be posted if possible. But regardless my family of five love it.
