Rogue Loading Pin

It's a good loading pin. The length is enough but not too much. I was unable to use bands with the flexible strap style I've had. With this, the weights stay neutral with a properly run band on top.

Probably unnecessarily robust. Bought to make loading/unloading plates for the grip curl attachment a bit easier than wrapping plates with the strap, however honestly getting the carabiner on and off the attachment is a little bit of a pain. I also didn't really think about how much length you really use from the strap given the attachment point is probably 1.5 ft up. I don't regret getting it, but don't think it was exactly a great investment.

Exactly what I needed. Mainly used for my makeshift forearm roller.

Works as advertised. Seems pretty bulletproof. A good pair to the grip training handles.

I like the loading pin because it's deceptively versatile; you of course can use it in conjunction with (small or even large) weight plates, and the wrist roller or "twist yo'wrist" device....both of which I have; but of all the creative uses I found for it, there are two I'll share: the first is lateral raises or a "Lat Bar"..... if you have a trapeze bar like myself, or a pull up bar, you can utilize a small portion of mountain climbing rope (an option but preferred) swing it over the top of your bar, affix one end of your rope to the loading pin with a carabiner and the other end of the rope to a simple handle of any kind (Rogue has assorted Lat handles) or you can just improvise with a simple wooden bar.....when doing Lat pull-downs the very weight when the pin is properly loaded I have found, will keep it balanced—the swung over rope on the bar. And there you have it! A very improvised device if you can't have a whole dedicated device. The second odd exercise: take again a mountain climbing rope (preferred) and pick your length; slip it through the hole at the top of the loading pin—maybe a four foot length is good or so; you can either affix handles on each end at this point BUT I DON'T BOTHER TO NOTE.....you can wrap the rope around your hands one or two times.....stand above the loading pin holding the two ends of rope making a relatively wide "V" form with the said rope, and simply pull out and up to complete the arc, for lack of a better word, by simply trying to straighten the rope to about face level. That's an oddball exercise you'll never find anywhere. And a HARD ONE TO NOTE!

Sure, you could grab a cheap loading pin from Amazon—but you'll probably end up giving it away on Facebook Marketplace like I did! This loading pin is built tough and high-quality, perfect for belt squats with my Spud Inc. pillow belt squat belt. Just be sure to have some large D-ring clips on hand since the steel eyelet is pretty thick.
