MONSTER LITE COMPETITION BENCH
Rogue’s Monster Lite Competition Bench is a patented, stand-alone bench press station equipped with a pair of 3x3” 11-gauge steel uprights and a set of ML J-Cups for built-in rackability with any standard barbell.
At a height of 57.75” and compact footprint of 53.5” x 49.5”, this American-made bench is suited to any type of training space. The uprights feature the same Westside hole spacing and laser-cut numbering as their full-size rig/rack counterparts, allowing for an assortment of add-ons and customization options. We’ve also designed these uprights with holes along the sides (6” on-center), Rogue-branded plastic caps on top, and a set of stabilizing base tubes with rubber feet to help fortify the structure and prevent any movement or imbalance as you train. The rubber pad on the front foot serves the same purpose.
Customers can choose from 4 different bench pad options with the Monster Lite Comp Bench, each at its own price point:
- Standard Textured Foam Pad (47"L x 12"W x 2.5" Thick // 20 LBS) - Self-skinning, highly engineered polyurethane foam. Black w/ debossed Rogue branding. Includes a black substrate on the underside for a clean finished look that won’t deteriorate over time.
- Competition Fat Pad (50"L x 12.5"W x 4.5" Thick // 24.5 LBS) - Black “grabber” vinyl. Wider than standard but narrower than Thompson Pad.
- Thompson Fat Pad (50"L x 14.5"W x 4.5" Thick // 30 LBS) - Black “grabber” vinyl. Over-sized design promotes scapular movement, eliminates shoulder hangover, and optimizes back and upper body positioning.
Please Note: No matter which pad option you choose, it will measure a standard 17.5” off the ground. Units ordered with a fat pad are shipped with a shorter front foot and back crossmember to maintain this consistent pad height.
All units have a Medium Gloss Black finish with all included hardware finished in bright zinc. The bench ships completely disassembled for optimum efficiency and cost-savings, with easy step-by-step assembly using the following required tools (not provided):

Band Pegs: The base tubes on the Competition Bench include 5/8” holes to allow users to add band pegs for banded bench work. Can be ordered a la carte as a 4-pack in a bright zinc finish.
Spotter Decks: These attachments help spotters gain more leverage when assisting on a lift. Finished in our texture black powder coat for reliable traction.
Safety Spotter Arms: Our Monster Lite Spotter Arms are able to sit as low as 4.5” above the bench pad; plenty low enough for even the thinnest person to safely bench.

QUALITY ROGUE CONSTRUCTION
Made in the USA, the Monster Lite Competition Bench introduces a new patented Rogue design, featuring 3x3” 11-gauge steel tubing (as well as 3/8" & 1/4” flat plate where necessary), finished in MG Black with bright zinc hardware. The uprights are spaced 43” apart and a set of Monster Lite J-cups are provided for the convenient racking of any standard barbell. Well suited to a small garage gym or a large high school / college / pro weight room, the bench is both heavy-duty (158 LBS) and compact (57.75” height, 53.5" x 49.5" footprint).
NUMBERED HOLES + WESTSIDE SPACING
The short uprights of the Comp Bench feature the same Westside hole spacing and laser-cut numbering as our standard 108” Monster Lite uprights, allowing for an assortment of add-ons and customization options. We’ve also designed these uprights with holes along the sides (6” on-center) and Rogue-branded plastic top caps.
REINFORCED STABILITY
We’ve included durable rubber feet on the unit’s base tubes and front foot, promoting greater stability for the entire bench as you train. Rather than having to bolt the unit to the floor, the feet safely stick and grip in place, preventing movement/sliding and keeping your gym floors protected.
3 PAD OPTIONS
Customers can choose their preferred style of bench pad from four distinct options. With all three versions, the assembled bench will still have a competition standard pad height of 17.5” above the floor.
