The Cyr Dumbbell has been an iconic symbol of strength for over a century; and it will be center-stage again at the 2021 Rogue Invitational in Austin; Texas. Named for the pioneering strongman Louis Cyr—who helped popularize the one-handed lift in the 19th century—this oversized DB has been fully re-engineered by the Rogue team; giving today’s top strongmen a chance to see how they stack up against one of the sport’s singular implements. In past Cyr challenges; none have struck the pose better than Mateusz Kieliszkowski; who broke his own world record with a successful 320 LB lift in 2020. Mateusz and an elite field of challengers will take their next shots at the Cyr in the Rogue Invitational’s first ever Strongman competition; October 29-31.
