To get stronger, you must train with multiple bars.

The Rogue MG-1 Bar helps avoid accommodation and allows a lifter to set new records.  This is a must-have bar to rotate through your ME or DE waves. The only multi-grip bar with olympic sleeves, the MG-1 bar weighs more than any other multi grip bar on the market.  This bar is the tool of choice for power lifters and other athletes who need to train a neutral grip for increased explosive strength. The neutral grip is also easier on the shoulders. Whether power is your specialty or you specialize in GPP, the multi-grip bar is one of the quickest ways to bust plateaus with improved muscle recruitment.

  • Handle Spacing: 5", 13", 21"
  • Weight: 60LB
  • Olympic sleeves
  • Fully welded design

Use the MG-1 for: bench press, floor press, lockouts, JM press, shoulder press.  Add chains, bands or change your grip width and you have one very powerful weapon in your bar arenal with a ton of uses.  All your excuses for not getting stronger have just gone away.

Heavy Duty Multi Grip Bar MG-1 is rated 4.8125 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bar Very glad I purchased. Having had some shoulder issues, this bar doesn't seem to put as much stress on my shoulders when benching. This bar is made VERY solid. Only gripe would be I wish Rogue would put some knurling on the handles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bar. Great selection of specialty bars.... but. Why do you not offer an EZ Curl Bar? (Lying Tricep Extensions with an EZ Curl are a staple for strength athletes.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its alot of dough -- but I would buy it again. Took me a lot of visits and looking around before I pulled the trigger. I found another company who's price was $100 less but then I read theirs was 27 lbs, this was 63 lbs or something. Its the most solid bar we own at the High School, and the movement is challenging and make your press honest. Well worth biting the bullet, we are raising champion Football Players and this will pay back over time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bar I bought this bar a couple of weeks ago and I've already noticed a difference in most of my lifts. It's a must have for any home gym. Great product and quality. Sure, the coating comes off as others have stated, but it's for lifting, not for show.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good bar, bad coating. Bar is as described but the coating on the bar has begun to peel off after only a couple uses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Training Tool WOW!! This bar is heavy duty, and worth every penny. By the time I complete my Chest and Tricep routine with this bar, I cant move. Great, quality construction. I wish I would have had this bar 30 years ago. Nice product Rogue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have in home gyms! This bar is a must have for home gyms. The neutral grip is a huge plus for someone like me with a shoulder issue and the different grips from wide to narrow stress different muscles very well. I use this bar for my bench press from incline to decline, bent over rows, inverted rows, floor presses and it is a god send. Kudos to Rogue for coming up with this piece of equipment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best single product on Rogue Absolutely love this bar. the variations you can do with your hands in neutral position are fantastic. For someone with a rather serious shoulder problem like me, this bar is a lifesaver. The various grips across the length of the bar are perfect width (not too thin, not too thick), the collars you can use are standard collars. I highly recommend this bar for all garage gym owners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MUST HAVE IN ARSENAL If you train with barbells, you need this bar ( along with a couple more). Most people lat pulldown with a neutral grip right?, seated row with a neutral grip right? Gotta press with one too. Also if you'd prefer to neutral grip row with a barbell (vs machine) this is how you'd do it. Neutral Grip overhead press ( check). and so on. You get the point. Little bit larger than a straight barbell and also requires a little stability strength.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this bar!!! This bar is AMAZING! The straight barbell puts too much stress on my shoulders and unneeded pain on my wrists, for my heavy pressing movements. This bar provides me comfort and I'm still able to target both my chest and triceps, more effectively (in my opinion) because of the neutral grip. I find the design to be more than expected along with it's fine welding and powder coating. I looked all over online and this is one of the few, few brands that provide "welded all around" Olympic sleeves for a multi-grip/swiss bar. So if your looking for top of the line, look no further!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Football Bar is great invesstment Ordered football bar to change bench workout yet stay with the basic movement. Bar well made, properly powder coated and well balanced. Definitely targets the triceps and I highly recommend this product. Take your time when first use as it is a bit different balance especially gripping the close grips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Quality!! This bar far exceeded my expectations. I didn't realize it was completely welded together, even the sleeves. It is 15lbs heavier than the normal straight bar, but working with a neutral grip allows for more tricep development and less strain and tear on the shoulders, so when going back to the straight bar, the triceps are much stronger and the shoulders are healthier allowing for a bigger bench. This bar should be in every gym and utilized by anyone working there upper body. I don't know how anyone would bend or break this bar even with world class weight on it, its built so strong. I am so glad I order this bar from Rogue, it is so awesome and so worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Training Tool This bar is by far my favorite for upper body pressing. I developed elbow tendinitis through the straight bar and chinups. I can use this bar with zero pain and still pile on the weight. Another plus with this bar is that you can use normal collars and don't have to pay extra for specialty collars. Great investment to protect your joints, but still train with heavy weights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy Duty The MG-1 is very well made. The machined Olympic sleeves allow use of regular collars and the plates fit nice and snug on the bar. Other manufacturers use pipe or tube and require "specialty bar" collars which = more $$$. We had some shipping damage on the first bar we received to which Rogue responded immediately and sent us a new bar. Excellent customer service. If you are looking for a Multi Grip Bar buy this one you will not be disappointed in the bar or Rogue's customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest Bar This is the greatest bar I have ever owned. Great quality & the best workouts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Welding isn't great I enjoy this bar very much, and it has introduced many options to my training. However, the quality of the welding is not what I have come to expect form Rogue. I own several pieces of Rogue equipment(R3 Rack, Camber Bar, Butcher, landmine), and this is the first I have had any disappointment with. I noticed undercut welds where the collars meet the bar. IMO this is where the bar is most likely to fail. It seems pointless to use such a large diameter bar if the weld reduces it any amount at any point. My original bar was replaced by Rogue, unfortunately the new bar seems to suffer from the same weld quality. Call me picky, but when all of what little disposable income I have goes to equipment I expect the best. Thanks
