Nearly Perfect. Unquestionably awesome.

So, I gotta say, these things ARE bomber. Since I don't wear shoes much, including CrossFitting, I was itching for something a little less torturous on those rope descents. I burned through a pair of NB Minimus 10's on a tough rope WOD and needed a better answer, and these have been it. Comfortable. Flexible. Light. Only problem? The rope guard, which after not-nearly-enough rope ascents has frictioned away at two of the squares. Still functional? Yup, but I'm gonna try the new 260's with beefed-up rope guards. Otherwise? Perfect.

My BEST shoe

I have a pair of these, Reebok Realflex, CF Nanos, and CF OLYs. These are by far my favorite of the four. AWESOME shoe. Truly a barefoot feel with slightly more support than Vibram 5 finger and better comfort. Great for rope climbs, SUPER light, and works great with lifts.
For the negative the lack of support will catch up to you. I have some ankle issues right now from wearing these three weeks straight right out of the box. There is little to no shock resistance and now i need to give my feet hopefully only a week or two off from these bad boys then slowly re-introduce them into my wods.
ALSO do not wear these outside. I do, when doing my warmup 400m and it will ruin the "sticky" grip. After just two or three outdoor runs it's completely gone, leaving the shoe with mediocre (at best) grip.
Over all my favorite shoe, I just wish I would have known to keep them indoor only.

First of all: I had to get a half size smaller than my normal shoe size because the toe box is huge!!! I have huge toes and still had a lot of room after a half-size smaller. I was very hesitant about barefoot shoes being uncomfortable until i tried these on in store. They felt great right out of the box and decided to purchase. I just finished a chief workout and i have to say they are a definite upgrade from my running shoes. They definitely added mobility, stability and a very comfortable natural barefoot feeling (not too thin of a bottom either). I'm using these in the xFit gym only. I have a separate pair of running shoes that i will use for xFits involving miles+ and such. You should have a separate pair of long distance running shoes anyway!

Bomber!

I've had limited success with other minimalist shoes. Specifically with durability and comfort. These shoes give the athlete both: comfort like a traditional running shoe and the durability you can only find in heavy, overbuilt trail shoes. Ropes, sprints, distance runs, heavy lifts, nothing can beat these things. The only downside that I have found so far is their lack of grip on grass wet with dew. They also don't look like clown shoes like the Merrill True Gloves, huge bonus. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who wants a lifting shoe, general CF shoe or bomber minimalist running shoe.

I have been a fan of Inov8s for a long time and this shoe delivers. It is super light and the soles are flat and solid. If I was going to have one shoe other than my oly shoes for heavy days, this is the one. I love the F-light 230s and this shoe is even better. I picked up some heavy DLs yesterday and banged out 100 burpees in them today and they rocked! Get em while they are in stock...
