Accounts Payable Coordinator

Full-Time

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Description: Performs accounts payable accounting function including receiving and matching invoices, account coding , preparation of disbursements and accounts payable related record keeping.

Position Responsibilities

  • Receives and Processes vendor invoices and internal check request
  • Maintains open files for purchase orders , packing /receiving slips and matches invoices
  • Verifies invoices for quantity, unit pricing , extensions and applicable discounts.
  • Obtains approval from appropriate personnel for payment of miscellaneous invoices
  • Codes invoices with accounting account numbers according to distribution in the general ledger.
  • Determines dates for invoices to be paid , enters invoices into the system accounts payable module & maintains open invoice files for unpaid invoices
  • Reviews invoices scheduled for payment and special check requests with the A/P Controller
  • Prints approved checks , prepares and routes for signature according to check signing authority
  • Receives and answers phone calls from vendors or other department regarding invoice status
  • Performs new vendor set ups
  • Maintain certificate of insurance and all other vendor related files
  • Coordinates collection and coding of receipts of all company credit cards
  • Coordinates all year end 1099 distribution process
  • Understands of accrual basis of accounting to ensure proper month-end reporting

Position  Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills

Customer Service

Full-Time

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Description: Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to orders, inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services. 

Position Responsibilities

  •  Process orders, forms, applications and requests
  •  Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face
  •  Respond promptly to customer inquiries
  •  Handle and resolve customer complaints
  •  Manage customers' accounts
  •  Record details of actions taken
  •  Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
  •  Follow up on customer interactions

Position Requirements

  •  High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent
  •  Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  •  Knowledge of relevant computer applications
  •  Ability to type
  •  Communication skills - verbal and written
  •  Problem analysis and problem-solving
  •  Attention to detail and accuracy


Director of Event Operations

Full-Time

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Description: Manage overall logistical and budgetary management of selected events with an emphasis on event execution.

Position Responsibilities

  • Pre-planning for selected events, this includes, but is not limited to:
    • On-site execution of event logistics, including staffing
    • Oversight of on-site deliverables
    • Floor management, signage placement
    • Sponsor fulfillment
    • Vendor management
    • Registration area requirements
    • Monitoring of equipment orders for the events
  • Budget forecasts and analysis for assigned events
  • Liability analysis and contingency planning
  • Primary contact for facility and vendor contacts.
  • Obtain cost estimates from vendors
  • Attend conference and manage on-site logistics and day to day work scope, and working closely with the Event Marketing Manager
  • Regular pre-event meetings with team to discuss on-site requirements
  • All post-event bill reconciliation and budget reporting
  • All negotiations with related vendors (AV, security, signage and services)

Position Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Operations preferred
  • 5 -7 years of operations or event management experience
  • Military Officer experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 


Event Marketing Manager

Full-Time

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Description: Develop and execute marketing strategies and programs that will increase demand, engage consumers with the brand, and drive revenue.

Position Responsibilities

  • Executes marketing campaigns
  • Plans events that will engage current customers and attract new ones
  • Works with clients to support campaigns
  • Works with various clients to determine strategies for various market segments
  • Provides coordination and project management to ensure event success
  • Once the management capacity is reached, may also attend these events as required
  • Publicizes event and works with Director of Events Operations to raise awareness and drive high levels of attendance and participation by targeted audience
  • Advises on new ideas to generate revenue for various clientele

Industrial Engineer

Full-Time

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Description: provide technical assistance in the form of process improvement, cost reduction, safety enhancement, and efficiency.  

Position Responsibilities

  • Identifies, develops, and manages process improvement projects specifically aimed at improving operational efficiencies
  • Works in conjunction with manufacturing and maintenance personnel to ensure consistent operation of equipment to prescribed conditions, once developed
  • Develops supporting set up, run and change-over documentation and facilitates all training following established procedures.
  • Acquires knowledge of procedures, work instructions, and associated forms as required by the Supervisor
  • Lead continuous improvement projects that will directly impact safety, quality, and cost for company

Position Requirements

  • Industrial Engineering Degree from a top tier school, or mechanical engineering concentration in similar engineering
  • MBA a plus
  • 2 -5 years of experience in Industrial design or related field
  • Experience working in the field a plus
  • Product supervision experience required

 


International Sales Coordinator

Full-Time

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Description: Responsible for coordinating international orders including facility layout, quoting, shipping activities, forecasting output, and analyzing long-range shipping plans.​

Position Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contact for all International customers
  • Have extensive knowledge of Rogue Fitness products
  • Identifying the safest method of packing parts for shipping
  • Finding the most economical and efficient shipping method
  • Knowledge of parcel, freight and container shipping methods will be important
  • Preparing shipping documents, customs documents and check items against work orders to ensure the correct quantities are shipped to the correct destination.

Position Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in related field
  • Strong oral and written Communication, Project/​Time Management, and Client Contact skills.​
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of import/​export regulations
  • Logical problem solving skills​
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to react to change productively and handle other tasks as required



IT Manager

Full-Time

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Description:  Responsible for managing application development and network systems, hands-on leading the team of developers and system administrators.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supervises, plans, directs and assists staff
  • Works closely with business leaders to align IT activities with business objectives
  • Works to ensure efficient, cost effective operations
  • Planning, project management and implementation leadership, identifying opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvement.
  • Hands-on technical depth enables direct oversight, problem-solving leadership and participation for complex development, application upgrades and operational troubleshooting for a mixed-platform (Windows, Linux, Mac OS) environment
  • Works closely with and manages issues with third party software vendors.
  • Defining and coordinating activities related to the implementation, ongoing support, measurement, and continuous improvement of the company’s hosted infrastructure
  • Oversees production systems and ensures quality standards are met
  • Leadership for delivery of 24/​7 service operations

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Project Manager

Full-Time

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Description: Design and manage large scale projects for strength and conditioning competition events.

Position Responsibilities

  • Perform specific project design and development tasks, including developing drawings, calculations, specifications, respond to clients' questions and comments
  • Review contractor submittals, and provide clarifications and site visits during construction
  • Adhere to accepted industry and company standards
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, coordinate, and in a supervisory capacity, make decisions independently and direct the development of structural engineering projects
  • Implement and follow through with job instructions provided by the Project Manager
  • Ensure safety and quality control requirements at your sites and with your crew
  • Compile all site-specific closeout documentation for your work effort
  • Coordinate with customer for site related activities and maintain a good working relationship
  • Provide leadership, guidance and actively train/promote learning to all your crew members

Position  Requirements

  • BS in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Structures; MS preferred
  • 3-5 years experience in Structural Engineering or related field
  • Strong oral and written Communication, Project/​Time Management, and Client Contact skills
  • Ability to manage a specific project within a structured environment
  • Proven experience managing projects from a design and planning stage through construction

 


Warehouse Technician

Full-Time

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Fills requisitions and orders.  Packs, crates, and ships products and materials.

Position Responsibilities

  • Warehousing and storage of all merchandise, supplies, and equipment
  • Inspecting incoming shipments
  • Consolidating and packaging outgoing orders
  • Case picking orders
  • Loading and unloading trucks and any other duties in our warehouse

Position Requirements

  • Previous warehouse /distribution experience is preferred, but not a must
  • Ability to operate a manual / powered pallet jack or lift product
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and carry up to 50 feet
  • Ability to climb picking ladders and reach to a height of 8 feet from the ladder
