Plant Manager

Full-Time

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Description: Ability to walk, talk and juggle chainsaws at the same time. This is a growing company and this job requires a person that designs their own destiny. Problem solving and resourcefulness need to be something ingrained in your DNA.

Position Responsibilities

  • Understand the Rogue customer and live the lifestyle. Use the equipment that we build.
  • Direct and manage plant operations for fabrication, production, assembly, quality, purchasing and demand a safe work environment for all team members.
  • Build and run production plans for all manufacturing environments. This is a major part of this job.
  • Safety - Thorough understanding of safety processes as they apply to manufacturing.
  • Control over all costing metrics and cost accounting.
  • Build and own growth plan for all manufacturing facets.
  • Implement and maintain preventive maintenance programs.
  • Organize shop floor and push cleanliness/5S with plant team.

Production Supervisor

Full-Time

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Description: Manages the Sewing Department and is accountable for executing strategies which achieve optimum safety, quality, service, productivity, and profitability.

Position Responsibilities

  • Willing to work the hours needed to get the job done. We don’t have 40 hr/week positions.
  • Not afraid to drive results and deal with problems.
  • Monitors team member attendance, productivity, and other performance markers.
  • Provides counseling to team members as required.
  • Coordinates work with Design Engineer, Inventory Manager, and Manufacturing Superintendent.
  • Recommends changes in procedures to improve the operating efficiency of the unit.
  • Enforces all company work and safety rules.
  • Educates direct reports to be able to operate independently and cohesively from other Manufacturing departments.
  • Ability to produce parts to exact specifications.

Position Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisor role.

CNC Machinist

Full-Time

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Description: Produces machined parts and builds fixtures by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, maintains quality and safety standards, keeps records and maintains equipment and supplies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Operate computer-controlled machines to perform one or more machine functions on metal work pieces.
  • Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
  • Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and work pieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
  • Stop machines to remove finished work pieces, or to change tooling, setup, or work piece placement, according to required machining sequences.
  • Check to ensure that work pieces are properly lubricated and cooled during machine operation.
  • Set up and operate computer-controlled machines or robots to perform one or more machine functions on metal work pieces.
  • Monitor machine operation and control panel displays, and compare readings to specifications in order to detect malfunctions.
  • Clean machines, tooling, and parts, using solvents or solutions and rags.

Position Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in Machinist field.
  • Must have previous CNC and fixture building experience.
  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Must be able to lift 80 pounds.
  • Must read prints in order to Q/C work. 

Manufacturing Supervisor

Full-Time

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Description: Supervisor is responsible for managing the Machining or Assembly departments and adheres to all company constraints from hour-to-hour into long-term goals. We are looking to fill positions on both 1st and 2nd shifts.

Position Responsibilities

  • Supervises, motivates and assigns specific responsibilities to team members.
  • Monitors team member attendance, productivity, and other performance markers. Provides counseling to team members, as required.
  • Coordinates work with General Supervisor and Manufacturing Superintendent.

Art Director

Position Description: We are looking for an Art Director that will provide direction and leadership to designers working on their project teams, scope design phases of projects accurately and follow through on projects meticulously. Someone who stays fresh and takes inspiration from the best sources often. We want you to motivate and provide constructive feedback and collaborate with other designers. You will be expected to develop original design concepts, manage the production, and present work to executives at the company. 

This position is for the astute designer who can see the best work, make it better and bring it to the top. Someone who can dive deep in the Rogue brand, understand the aesthetic entirely and translate that to fellow designers and our customers. We move fast and want to stay fresh. Position Requirements

  • 7+ years of design experience.
  • 2+ years of design leadership experience.

Senior Designer

Position Description: We are looking for someone interested in taking projects on with vigor and owning them all the way to production. Someone who stays fresh and takes inspiration from the best sources often. We want you to motivate, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with other designers. You will be involved in a super diverse list of design projects ranging from packaging, event signage, retail area design, website promotions, and product branding to regular ol' magazine ads. You really get to show off your design skills in a variety of applications. 

Good with a pencil? Great. 150% proficient in Adobe CC, also great (90%… we'll consider it). Someone who asks the right questions, gets to the heart of the task and goes full force toward a solution is who we want. We don't idle, we move constantly. If you are good... we want you.

Director of Human Resources

Position Description: Optimize current/develop new procedures and guidelines to help align Management with the strategic goals of the company. The Director of HR will report directly to the Owner and will be in charge of 2-3 direct reports.

Position Responsibilities

  • Direct effectively in a fast pace and ever expanding company. 
  • Lead and develop team capable of keeping up with moving at breakneck speed.
  • Able to evaluate and strategize manpower levels and the costing associated.
  • Experience creating systems in a startup company.
  • Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, hiring, training, grievances, performance evaluations, workers compensation and unemployment claims.

Industrial Sewing Team Leads, and Operators

Full-Time

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Description: Operate industrial sewing machine to gather, hem, and reinforce materials.

Position Responsibilities

  • Take direction from supervisor to construct product, meeting quality and productivity standards.
  • Sew multiple styles.
  • Be able to prepare machine by changing needles and thread, oiling and changing bobbin, and securing attachments.
  • Sew materials together by guiding material under machining needle.
  • Perform general housekeeping in manufacturing area.

Position Requirements

  • 2-5 years experience in industrial sewing setting.
  • Capable of sewing 7-8 hours a day.
  • Capable of reading and following blueprints.
  • Experience sewing with vinyl and canvas a plus.
  • Strong team player.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs without assistance.

Industrial Engineers

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Description: Provide technical assistance in the form of process improvement, cost reduction, safety enhancement, and efficiency in a manufacturing setting.

Position Responsibilities

  • Identifies, develops, and manages process improvement projects specifically aimed at improving operational efficiencies.
  • Works in conjunction with manufacturing and maintenance personnel to ensure consistent operation of equipment to prescribed conditions, once developed.
  • Develops supporting set up, run and change-over documentation and facilitates all training following established procedures.
  • Acquires knowledge of procedures, work instructions, and associated forms as required by the Supervisor.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects that will directly impact safety, quality, and cost for company.

Position Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in Industrial design for Warehousing or Manufacturing.
  • Industrial Engineering Degree required; MBA a plus.

  • Product supervision experience preferred.

Safety Coordinator

Full-Time

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Description: Candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation and completion of the safety and security compliance programs.

Position Responsibilities

  • Keep up to date on new health and safety regulations.
  • Identify, report, and correct any gaps in programs.
  • Ensure that equipment and employees are working in a safe and sanitary condition. Provide feedback to employees and Management using multiple systems.
  • Establish and maintain safety management system, compliant with OSHA CFR and other associated regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and maintain OSHA 300 Log Records compliant with OSHA CFR requirements.
  • Establish and maintain effective incident corrective/preventive action system; driving reductions in current safety performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain Job Safety Analysis Database for job functions deemed at risk for serious injury.

Position Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a relatable role.

  • Expertise in the area of Safety Systems in a manufacturing/distribution environment, with an emphasis on risk reduction.
  • Experience working with injuries in the workplace, workers compensation claims and mitigation of claims.

Customer Service

Position Description: Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to orders, inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services.

Position Responsibilities

  • Process orders, forms, applications and requests.
  •  Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face.

Warehouse

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Responsibilities

  • Warehousing and storage of all merchandise, supplies, and equipment.
  • Inspecting incoming shipments.
  • Consolidating and packaging outgoing orders.
  • Case picking orders.
  • Loading and unloading trucks and any other duties in our warehouse.

Position Requirements

  • Previous warehouse /distribution experience is preferred, but not a must.
  • Ability to operate a manual / powered pallet jack or lift product.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and carry up to 80 feet.
  • Ability to climb picking ladders and reach to a height of 8 feet from the ladder.
