This is a very capable 10KG bar. It is not guaranteed because it is a 25MM bar. This is an excellent choice for technique training and for the young buck that is learning the Olympic lifts. The distance between collars is exactly like the competition bars.
The steel shaft is carefully bright zinc coated then hit with a second black zinc coating that give the bar a old school feel. There are no other bars like this on the market.
