Rogue Arm Blaster

The Rogue Arm Blaster is another 21st century adaptation of an old-school weightlifting classic. Made from 0.25" thick laser-cut formed aluminum with your choice of a leather or nylon strap, this simple device is designed to be worn around the neck when the lifter is performing biceps curls. By ensuring that the arms remain tight against the body throughout the movement, the Arm Blaster promotes proper form while also isolating the biceps—maximizing the strength-building benefits of the workout.

This type of accessory first appeared on the scene in the 1970s and quickly became one of the trusted tools of the trade among competitive weightlifters, bodybuilders, and other strength athletes. The Arm Blaster offered an innovative way to prevent the arms from flaring out during heavyweight curls, thus concentrating all the strain and concentrated power into the biceps muscles.

Rogue is utilizing the same key principles in our Arm Blaster, with the addition of superior modern construction and American craftsmanship. You can currently order the device in three variations:

  • Black Anodized Finish & Etched Rogue Branding + Leather Strap
  • Black Anodized Finish & Etched Rogue Branding + Nylon Strap
  • Medium Gloss Black Powder Coat Finish & White Die-Cut Rogue Decal + Nylon Strap*

*MG version is not available with the leather strap.

Updating the “Tool of Legends”

Updating the “Tool of Legends”

An icon of 1970s fitness, variations of the arm blaster were used and promoted by some of the biggest international names in weightlifting and bodybuilding. Rogue’s design takes everything good about this classic accessory and updates it for greater efficiency, user comfort, and lasting performance.

Hone Your Form
2

Hone Your Form

The Arm Blaster is uniquely designed to encourage consistent, proper form when performing arm curls. The metal portion of the device is positioned against the upper abdominal muscles and is curved at each end—so if an athlete's arms are at his or her sides, the metal will slip between the body and the arm and then curl around the back of the triceps. This makes it nearly impossible to flare the arms to the sides while wearing the device, meaning your upper arms will remain safely locked in the proper position.

Rogue Quality

Rogue Quality

While the arm blasters of the past were mainly made overseas, the Rogue Arm Blaster is manufactured in the USA, using 0.25" thick laser-cut formed aluminum. It includes your choice of a Black Anodized finish (with etched Rogue branding across the front of the abdominal plate) or a Medium Gloss Powder Coat (featuring a white die-cut Rogue decal).

Blast Your Arms

Blast Your Arms

This device is built exclusively as an accessory for curls, and is a logical match with the Rogue Curl Bar or Rackable Curl Bar. You might not be a world class 1970s body builder or a future governor of California, but if you’re looking to target the upper arms, this tool is a time-tested way to isolate the biceps for a very intense, difference-making workout.

Two Neck Strap Options

Two Neck Strap Options

Leather Strap: 1” Wide, 12 holes adjustable from 7” length to 19”

Our genuine leather strap option is adjustable in 0.5" increments and more closely resembles the old school versions made in the ‘70s and ‘80s. The strap is 0.15625" thick and is held in place by means of a conway buckle that locks it in place once the desired length is set. Not available with the MG Powder Coat version of the Arm Blaster.

Nylon Strap: 1” Wide, 2 plastic slides adjustable from approx. 11” to 23”

One advantage with the nylon version is that it’s easily removable using the magnetic Fidlock V buckles on each end of the strap.Note: This length adjustments are based on measuring from the top of the center of either strap (where it would be sitting on the users neck) to the top of the formed metal piece of the blaster.

Needs improvement
The edges are squared off and dig into my chest/mid section. It would be better if they were rounded off or the plate was coated with a rubber coating maybe.

If your regular arm workouts aren't cutting it...
Use this modern rendition of a torture device to ensure the sleeves of your shirts will never fit the same again. I got the version with the leather straps and I'm fairly certain it will last long enough to be handed down for generations. Great for both biceps and triceps so get blasting!

Arm blaster
Working great. Better quality then most arm blasters out there. Not having the padding behind the arms does not bother me i enjoy the pain but some other people might need it. Be a good upgrade on version 2.

Outstanding!
I had the original Weider Armblaster many years ago-gold bar with a blue nylon strap and metal buckles on swivels-and never wore it out. The Rogue is superior! My old Weider was far far better than the vast majority of cheap copies on the market now, but with a thick leather strap, heavy duty fixed post metal buckles, and a solid, properly sized (not made for a child) bar, the Rogue is a much better piece of equipment. Outstanding!

Issue with close-grip EZ bar curls
The metal buckles that connect the neck strap to the arm blaster dig into your arms when doing close-grip EZ bar curls.

SUCKS
For this much markup, the least you could've done is add padding on the strap behind the neck and padding on the spots where the arms rest.
