Rogue Ballistic Block

Version 2.0 of the ultra-versatile, 70 LB Rogue Ballistic Block introduces a new set of handle slots built into both ends, making it much easier to pick up and maneuver the block into a desired position. The handles also add a level of comfort and control for athletes who want to use the block as an odd-object carry implement or for performing neutral grip cleans and overhead presses.

Like the original model, the updated Rogue Ballistic Blocks still measure 24” long x 12” tall x 9” deep, with an interlocking design that allows a sequential set-up of multiple blocks with lock-in stability. Molded Rogue branding is also included on both sides of the block.

Over the years, gym owners have adapted these rock solid implements for a wide variety of uses, including plyobox / box jumps, agility drills, carries, and throws. Two interlocked Ballistic Blocks can create a simple but sturdy flat bench for dumbbell bench presses, and the block’s one-foot height makes it an effective step-up platform for shorter athletes to reach a pull-up bar. Rogue has even used the Ballistic Blocks as podiums at the Arnold Classic. Feel free to get creative.

Important: One thing we stress that Ballistic Blocks should NOT be used for, in order to ensure their long-term viability, is sledgehammer / mallet targeting.

Worth every penny@@@@
The Rogue Ballistic Block is worth every penny I spent for it! I use it for many exercises, which includes Plyometric exercises, to rest my loading pin with Olympic plates on for belt squats, and even to lift with, like for military presses. It is exceptionally well-made and sturdy. I give it my highest recommendation.

Heavy, versatile, perfect
Rock solid block that doesn’t budge even on a slick garage floor like mine. I use it mainly as a boost for rack pulls - it doesn’t wobble or give even a little bit and gives me confidence it won’t fail while pulling heavy weight. Only limited by your imagination we’ve also used it to help spot for benching, seated box jumps, low box squats, odd carry etc but you get the point. It fills so many rolls and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Pretty versatile
I bought it originally for conditioning days. Over head and bear hug carries mostly. Then starting adding the block to my prowler pushes for easy on off weight between loads. Now my favorite might be my son using it for a bench and a box for squats

Good Product - But a bit heavy
I got this for my wife. At 70 lbs it's just too heavy for her to move around the gym. I would like to see a similar version that is around 30 to 50 pounds made out of some other material that is lighter. I don't think it needs to be 70 lbs. I also found the material a bit slippery if you have a slant board on top. You need to use a towel or something to keep the slant board from sliding. On the positive side I really like the dimensions 9 x 12 x 24. Seems to hit a nice sweet spot for doing step ups and various leg exercises. Shorter than the plyo boxes Rogue sells.

You don't know you need them until you do.
It's amazing how many things in the gym these things can be used for. From landmines to pull ups there are a multitude of uses for these. I am very glad that I bought them. Of course they are made with the same high quality as everything else Rogue.

Alrighty!
I bought this for the many uses that it can substitute for in a home gym such as bench, odd carries, plyo step ups/box jumps. My only complaint was delivery took forever.

Versatile rubber blocks
I bought two and they are great. Versatile enough to use as a bench, a seat, step ups, quasi-dip. It’s really been useful having to work out at home. They are heavy but you should expect that. Shipping was great. I would definitely buy again if the need arises.

Definitely an odd object!
It is every bit of 70lbs. the handles are a bit subpar so its super hard to lift without hurting your back, but if you are above average in strength this block will be a thrill to use.
