Sling Shot Hip Circle

The Sling Shot Hip Circle is used to activate muscles around the hips and glutes in order to improve technique and get you stronger, faster. The band adds resistance to strengthen hip abductors and external rotators, keeping the knees pushed out during squats and deadlifts.

You can also use the band to warm-up before starting your workouts. Slip the band over both legs and take long strides to warm-up your legs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! This has been great for my form. I had a lot of knee issues, and it was all due to my glutes not being strong. So, after a lot of PT, and strengthening my glutes, i got this after reading up on someone's FB page. She used it, and i thought i'd give it a try. well, my squat form is a lot better, it keeps me aware of where the knees need to go! it really activates the glutes! i use it mainly for squatting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Add this to your mobility arsenal Got this last week and use it regular as part of my lower body mobility workout. I have used bands and theramed bands before - but in the end they are uncomfortable and require knotting which is a pain. This just says put and is comfortable in use. Overall another great product from slingshot

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mobility/warm-up tool I bought this about a year ago and it has held up great - I use it probably about 3-4x a week... I find it great to use prior to doing any lower body workout - especially before squat and deadlifting. It fits comfortably and doesn't "fold in" or "roll up" like cheaper rubber/synthetic bands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PURCHASE this item if you're lacking glute activation!!! I had a hard time pushing my knees out at the bottom of my squats. I do 20-30 reps of: hip circles, side step monster walks, quarter squats, and full squats with the band on. I've noticed huge improvements in my hip flexibility and glute activation. I incorporate the sling shot into my warm up routines along with band stretches. This is a must buy! I spend a lot of time seated and the sling shot opens up my hips. Great tool!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Effective and fun Yes it can be fun so you will use it. Effective, I use it for a warm ups on an EFX and squats, side step around the yard and do hip circles to Afro- Cuban Jazz. It works alot better then the other bands I have for these purposes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product for your toolkit This is a very useful tool to have. I have bought into a deliberate hip warm-up and using this band helps a great deal to add resistance. I was using floss bands before but they aren't comfortable at all - they pull out leg hair and move up your leg as you move. This band stays put and is comfortable. I am 5'10", 185 lbs and then 15" band is about right. I wish it did stretch a little more but I understand its uses in other areas would want it to be somewhat restrictive.
