Amazing piece of equipment for Deadlift assisstance. After using the Rogue Trap Bar for a few weeks and not touching a straight bar once, I tested my Deadlift 1RM. It had improved by 30 lbs in just a few weeks after having been stagnant for months.
This is an excellent piece of equipment! It is by FAR the best bar i have ever owned. I will be purchasing nothing but Rogue bars in the future.

Great Bar, OK FinishExcellent bar overall. I was very impressed with the packaging but I'm sure my UPS guy hated it. The box was about 6"x3'x8' and 100 lbs. The loadable length on the one I received is 16", not 13" (I can add one more bumper). The welds look pretty good, but some weld splatter got on the handle right where you hold it, something I can easily fix but definitely a manufacturing issue Rogue should address. The knurling is excellent. The biggest problem I'll have with it is finding a place to keep it.

TB-1 ROGUE TRAP BARThis bar is awesome. I've loaded it to 500 lbs and would guess it could hold more than I would ever lift. My traps have always been hard to activate or feel and I'm sure many other people are the same way. GET THIS BAR. Massive trap development in shorter time for me. Can load up WAY more weight for shrugs and actually move it and feel it. Can use it for awesome farmers walks and carries and holds. Overhead press numbers going up because of it. Just an all around cool bar that has really inspired me.
A couple of minor gripes that I'll for sure live with:
The "square" part of the bar that you stand in is a little small for bigger dudes or bigger rears (As is my case) if you try to do bent over rows with it. I know its a "Trap Bar" and not a "Bent over row bar" but if you made it 28" or 30" Instead of 24" (I think I measured it at that), it would allow a greater bent over range of motion.
The paint on this compared to my other Rouge stuff seems pretty thin and really easy to mess up. And I don't mean scratch... Like the paint is CHIPPING in spots. I would think you could powder coat it instead of spray paint it. This is picking fly poop out of pepper though. ALL my stuff is rough and rusty and beat to sh*t and needs a new coat of powder coat....
The handles are thick, but not too thick, and feel great but the knurl is GNARLY at first. My hands are tough as nails and the first couple of weeks had me whining. Hopefully it'll knock down after a little use. That or I'll take some 500 grit sandpaper to it for a second.
I'm only knocking a star for finish, which really is only a minor gripe.

Solid Bar, Disappointing FinishFirst off, let me say this bar is built solid. Great knurl and balanced. Definitely built to last.
Unfortunately, the finish on the sleeves is terrible. Big sections of the finish began to flake off during the first use. Given the $300 price tag, I expected a lot more.
Overall, it's a decent bar and it does what it's built for. Given the choice again, I would probably go with the Sorinex Diamond Bar over the Rogue Trap Bar.
