top bars not useful for bumpers
Review by spring greenQualityI bought this particularly for bumper plates, not realizing the top bar isn't useful unless you are mixing non-bumpers with bumpers.| Review for: Vertical Plate TreeSolid Plate Tree, mobile and sturdy
Review by KentQualityThis can hold alot of plates and makes moving bumper plates around my home gym a breeze. I have the S1 stand as well and this is a perfect complement. No more rolling the bumpers around my garage and it keeps them up off the floor. When filled this thing is Heavy! If you have a small gym and need mobility look no further. Although would have loved a slot to hold my bar!| Review for: Vertical Plate TreeVery useful for any gym
Review by IvanQualityIf you're going to have a lot of weights, this tree is the perfect solution to store them. It's super heavy-duty and makes my gym look nice and clean. Highly recommended!| Review for: Vertical Plate TreeVery good… Not perfect
Review by mrbrutaltruthQualityFirst, the good: this standard can easily handle any weights that you stack on it. It assembles easily (I had a small issue with the wheel set-the holes were drilled improperly in the bottom of the base-rogue's excellent customer service had a replacement to my home VERY quickly.) I also love that you can store bumper plates on all four of the bottom rungs. I have two minor criticisms. One, the top two rungs should be a couple of inches farther away from the middle two. As it is, you can barely fit a standard 10 pound plate on the top rungs when the middle two rungs are filled. It would be nice to be able to fit a standard 25 pound plate on the top two rungs if you needed to. Second (and this applies to many manufacturers), I never understood why they make the weight support rungs fit so tightly in the holes of the weight plates. In fact, if they made this plate tree with 1 inch support rungs I probably would've purchased it instead of the one that they sell. Think about it: can you imagine if the hole on the top of a needle was the exact size of the thread that you were trying to fit through? It simply makes no sense. If I were designing this rack I would make the top part of the support rung round (where the weight plate rests). I would make the bottom part of the support a "V" shape. This way you could make the support with an effective diameter of maybe 1.5 inches. It would be just as strong. The weights would go on and off a lot easier. This is especially true in home gym settings where quite often things are cramped and you're trying to reach around something with a 45 pound plate and slide it on this post that fits the hole too perfectly. I guess everybody else does it that way, so rogue chose to do it that way also. I just disagree with it (although I do agree that vertical supports should be round and tightfitting-like the ones that you can buy as an option for the S1 squat stand)| Review for: Vertical Plate TreeExcellent
Review by brmouzoneQualityVery sturdy and very attractive look.| Review for: Vertical Plate TreeHeavy duty plate tree with tons of storage
Review by DonaldQualityThis plate tree has enough room for all your bumper plates. I have two full sets of competition bumpers (25kg, 20kg, 15kg, and 10 kg) plus two pairs of 10 lb. hi-temps and two pairs of 5 lb technique plates. The only drawback is that it gets hard to roll around when fully loaded, but thats a good problem to have.| Review for: Vertical Plate TreeSturdy, space saving product
Review by Dan FQualityThis product is no exception to Rogue's tradition of building rock solid products. Works excellent for organizing and saving space in small areas like garages. Only recommendations would be the addition of bar holders & if you get the wheel set, it would be beneficial if one or two of the wheels were lockable. Sometimes when loading plates on and off the rack wants to roll around. I would still recommend this to anyone.| Review for: Vertical Plate TreeNice
Review by DanQualityA very solid weight tree. It stands about 50" high with 19" between the bottom two pegs and 13 1/2" between the top two pegs (from center to center). The wheels are heavy duty and don't have a problem holding a full set.| Review for: Vertical Plate TreeLog in to leave a reviewQuality Product
Review by Bender Bending RodriguezQualityThis is very well built. The wheels add versatility for those with small home gyms.| Review for: Vertical Plate Tree
The only thing that would make it better is that if bar holders were added to it.
