While it’s included standard with the Rucker 3.0 and Plate Carrier 2.0, GORUCK’s newly redesigned Training Sternum Strap is also now available a la carte.
This 1" wide strap attaches via clasps to the MOLLE webbing on the shoulder straps of a rucksack/carrier, improving overall stability without constricting an athlete’s breath or range of motion. Removable as well as adjustable, the Sternum Strap can be customized from 7.5” in length up to 17”. This means that you can create a tighter fit for burpees, then loosen the strap again quickly when on the move.
Using the Sternum Strap can also change the way weight is dispersed across your chest and shoulders, and the added line across the body creates a convenient carabiner clip-in point, too.
