Rogue Landmine Handles

I agree with another review submitted-the pictures on Rogues page have the lifter using the handles in a less effective way. Don’t do as he does, turn them around.

I purchased the land mine straight handle, and am so thankful i did! its way better than what i was using for bent over rows, feels solid and the diameter and length of the handle is very comfortable.

I purchased the straight bar, and it does the job with landmine bent over rows. I like the ergonomics and feel of the bar. However, I am disappointed with the metal sleeve that goes over my barbell. It is a rough powder coated metal, and I feel sorry for my beautiful barbell sleeves every time I use the straight bar. Metal on metal, screech. I see that the CG-1 has an integrated acetal sleeve to protect the barbell sleeves. That is the standard I hold Rogue to.

I got the straight landmine, it’s terrific for bent over rows. I keep asking where I got it from because there’s no branding on it at all.

The landmine handle is a popular addition to our facility, has a great feel while performing T-bar rows.

Solid handles. Got the wider straight ones, will probably get the other ones eventually. Great for doing t-bar rows with, very happy with the investment. I only wish they had a 3rd variant: wide ones with *slight* angle to the handles, instead of fully straight, or narrow with a more extreme angle. IMO, that hypothetical 3rd option would fully complete the set.

These is a great attachment. I was using the "improvised" v-shaped handle or a bar handle + straps. Nah. No more of that. Get these instead you'll never look back.

I cannot help thinking that this (very useful) landmine handle was a bit of an unimportant, box ticked, afterthought by Rogue. For starters, the website images of the handle “in use” are idiotic! The handles should point away from the user, not towards - it is all but unusable in the orientation shown. But to get to the handle itself. I know that this is (by Rogue standards) a cheap item, but I feel that because of this it has not received the attention to detail and quality control that I have come to expect from Rogue. The construction, though solid and I am sure, strong enough, is pretty poorly done. The welds are globby and pitted and the powdercoat hastily applied with bare, rusted, metal showing in places. The grips are a bit of an afterthought too - cheap rubberised sleeves that, right out of the box, move, rotate and work their way off the handles in use. I’ll either ditch them completely, or replace them with grip tape. Rogue just should have knurled the handles, because the existing grips are more of a distracting annoyance than a help. It sounds like I hate this handle. I don’t. It is very solid and (used with the handles in the correct orientation) superb for targeting the upper back and traps. I just wish that Rogue had given it more thought and attention, because it really isn’t any better than the cheapo far east imports.
