Rogue MG-4CN Narrow Multi Grip Camber Bar

The new and improved Rogue MG-4CN Multi-Grip Bar now comes standard with two sets of 32mm thick handles (at 12-degree and 16-degree angles) and redesigned, lockable sleeves in two length options (9” or 15.5”). In combination with the MG-4CN’s narrow, maneuverable frame construction (5” inside width, 3.5” camber depth), customizable handle spacing, and convenient rackability, this upgraded model represents Rogue’s premier multi-grip bar system to date.

3 Key Upgrades with the New MG-4CN:

• Lockable Sleeves - Using an included Allen Wrench, athletes can easily switch the sleeves from unlocked (allowing them to spin freely like a standard barbell) to locked (zero movement for max stability)
• 2 Sets of Knurled 32MM Handles are now included standard - (1) 12-degree angled pair and (1) 16-degree angled pair + the option to add an extra set a la carte
• Nylon Washers - Help protect the frame’s finish every time the adjustable handles are repositioned

Customer feedback was the most important factor in the MG-4CN’s redesign. After the original model was released, many athletes informed us that the rotating sleeves—while helpful for training their stabilizer muscles—also limited the bar’s overall versatility. To address this, we’ve now made it easy to lock and unlock the sleeves using the included Allen Wrench. When in the locked position, the new sleeves deliver exceptional stability for traditional multi-grip bar training. Without raising the price, we also expanded the standard MG-4CN kit to include 2 sets of the extra-thick (32mm) handles most preferred by our customers; one pair angled at 12-degrees and the other at 16-degrees. That still leaves room for an optional third pair (available a la carte) for customers whose workout programs require additional handle positions or angles. 

The new sleeves of the MG-4CN Multi-Grip Bar are available in your choice of a Stainless Steel or Proprietary Matte Black finish, and can still be selected with either 9” or 15.5” of loadable length. With both options, the distance between the sleeves is a standard 51.5”, making the bar rackable on any Rogue power rack, squat stand, rig, or bench. 

The removable handles feature the same precision knurl pattern as our Ohio Bars, and are also available in Proprietary Matte Black or Stainless Steel, ensuring a “true” feel of the knurling. Using the included allen keys and protective nylon washers, the threaded handles can be attached to the frame of the Camber Narrow Multi-Grip Bar at 1-inch intervals, meaning that a set can be functionally spaced anywhere from a minimum of 6” to a maximum of 26” apart. This enables athletes to customize their bar for multiple movements—from close grip presses and triceps work to biomechanically optimized grips at shoulder-width and beyond. Handle reconfigurations are easy to perform and well suited to multiple athlete use, with the nylon washers helping to prevent any marring of the frame’s finish across repeated adjustments. 

The 41” long frame portion of the bar is built in the USA from 1” x 2” 11-gauge steel tubing with 1/4” plates, a machined socket, and a Texture Black powder coat finish. The cambered shape with 3.5” of drop allows for a greater range of motion when using the outer handles on certain movements (such as bench or rows), and also helps to improve stability, as the bar’s center of mass–relative to hand placement–is lower. At an inside width of 5”, the frame of the MG-4CN is also several inches narrower than our first run of MG-4C Multi-Grip Bars, allowing for easier maneuverability, according to feedback we’ve received from many users. 

The sleeves are assembled to the shafts by our barbell assembly team, but to save on shipping costs, we developed a unique interlocking taper design that allows for easy assembly with a single nut using the included wrench. The joint created by this interlocking taper is every bit as strong as a weld, and will hold up to whatever an athlete throws at it. Even after the nut is removed, it takes a lot of force with a mallet to free the shaft from the socket.

IMPORTANT: The MG-4CN Bar ships with the sleeve assemblies disconnected from the frame, but all required hardware and tools for assembly are provided, including a set of 5/16” allen keys + 1/2” x 2-½” button heads bolts for the handles and a 1.5” Monster Wrench for securing the sleeve to the frame.

Please Note: Due to their shorter length, the 5” long handles of the MG-4CN are NOT compatible with all bars in the MG-4 series.
