Battlestar Cradle

I purchased the cradle along with a Little Battlestar 2.0* and a Battle Saw**. *referred to now as LBS **referred to now as BS I didn't consider it an essential purchase then, but have since changed my mind, specially when used with the LBS At first I thought; Great, the cradle means the tool (LBS, BS, BBS etc) can spin freely, but stay in one place. So instead of my tool and my body moving in a space, now it is just my body moving. Very convenient when short on space. But then certain mobilizations from Becoming A Supple Leopard (by Dr Kelly Starrett, aka MobilityWOD / The Ready State) really made a lot of sense with the cradle. If I used the LBS on the floor, I could certainly get some mobilizations done, but as it's a small device, getting pressure over it would be very hard. This is where the cradle comes in, by elevating the tool, it's possible to position more of my body over and around the tool, meaning I can exert more pressure and control. This really helps with hard to smash areas like hamstrings and where the hamstrings enter the hip capsule for example. Another great example is the QL side smash from Becoming A Supple Leopard. If I were to only buy the Big Battlestar, that wouldn't benefit as much from being elevated as the LBS or even BS. While these products may not be cheap, they are the best I've ever used.
