Rogue CG-1C Multi Grip Camber Cable & Landmine Attachment

ALUMINUM MULTI GRIP CABLE & LANDMINE HANDLE ATTACHMENT

The Rogue CG-1C Multi Grip Camber Cable & Landmine Attachment is a versatile 2-in-1 tool that doubles as a cable attachment and landmine handle. Made in the USA and featuring ¼-inch aluminum or heavy duty steel side plates with laser-cut Rogue branding coated in a rugged texture black powdercoat finish, this attachment is designed to offer long-lasting durability and versatility. A built in acetal sleeve is added to protect your barbell sleeve from scratches when performing landmine work. Its multi-grip handle system provides customizable options for users to pick grip widths, whether you’re performing cable exercises or landmine movements.

VERSATILE GRIP OPTIONS

The CG-1C Multi Grip Camber Attachment offers a wide range of grip configurations for your workouts. The wide grip handles are spaced 30” apart on-center, perfect for neutral grip lat pulldowns and low rows. Additionally, the mid-grip handles are adjustable, allowing you to choose from 6 possible distances—14", 16", 18", 20", 22", or 24"—so you can fine-tune your positioning to hit different muscle groups and find your ideal comfort zone. For closer grips, the close-grip handles offer 2 adjustable options—6" or 8" apart—ensuring a customizable, ergonomic fit for every user. The 32MM diameter, 5” long knurled aluminum handles with Ohio knurling, the same knurl pattern used on our Ohio Bar tested by elite athletes for over a decade, provide a secure grip for every rep.

DURABLE & FUNCTIONAL DESIGN

With the aluminum and heavy duty steel options weighing 8.25LBS and 14.0LBS respectively, the CG-1C Multi Grip Camber Attachment is an evolution of the original Rogue Multi Grip Cable Attachment. A stainless steel clevis plate adds extra durability, while the embedded acetal sleeve allows for landmine work without scratching your barbell sleeve. This attachment’s sleek profile makes it ideal for home gyms, commercial fitness facilities, or portable use, giving you the flexibility to perform a variety of exercises with minimal space requirements.

Looking to add more grip options? The Rogue H-5 Handles are available in multiple diameters, angles, and finishes, giving you the flexibility to customize your setup for any cable attachment or compatible multi-grip bar.

In attesa di brevetto

Note: The CG-1 attachments are optimized for Lat Pulldown and Low Row movements. When used with a landmine, range of motion may be slightly reduced depending on your setup and the movement performed.

Warning: Lat pulldown machines from different manufacturers will have different amounts of resistance when unloaded which may or may not balance the weight of the attachment. Therefore it is important that the attachment is always supported while changing the weight to prevent it from falling and causing injury.

Do you even Camber bro?
I picked up the cambered multigrip attachment along with an additional set of 20° grip handles. Wanted it primarily for landmine work with my Pritchett pad. I’m glad I did. It’s excellent for working different parts of my back and the angled grips open up more options, especially since you can 180 the orientation of the attachment and invert the grip that way. When using a Pritchett pad it can be kinda tricky to reach the attachment but I got creative with a j-cup to prop the barbell on and it lets me use this attachment just fine

An excellent addition to my home gym
Very nice cable and landmine attachment. Much lighter in weight than it looks, it is a good additional piece of equipment. Because of the hand position, the attachment allows activation of different muscles to provide a more complete back workout. The knurling on the handles is great—easy to grip even with sweaty hands. When used for t-bar rows it does not scratch up the bar. A well-thought out and efficient piece of equipment. It literally replaces 4 cable attachments in my gym. Too bad I didn’t get this a few years back.

DISCLAIMING
Very disappointed!! Given the brand and especially the price, I expected a product in perfect condition. Instead, the two side plates have a jagged finish and are even a bit sharp in some places!! This is unacceptable for the ROGUE brand.

Good, but could (& hopefully will) be better…
Apologies for the length of this review, but hopefully it might help some of you decide whether this attachment is for you. I bought the CG - 1C multi-grip version, predominantly to use for my Pritchett Pad, chest supported, landmine row setup, though I also use it for pull-downs and cable rows. I’ll go into my setup for landmine use later. The CG - 1C itself is beautifully made. Light and strong, with very nice knurling on the 32mm handles - very grippy, without being painfully sharp, the knurl really locks in your grip. The handles (like the frame) are aluminium, so we’ll have to see whether the knurl wears/softens over time because of that. The liner on the landmine sleeve is a nice touch, though Rogue need to use a slightly lower profile bolt for their handle attachment, or modify the frame to accept a recessed, countersunk bolt setup, as the current bolts are just a fraction deeper than the depth of the outer rim of the sleeve. I’ve only given 3 stars, because I feel that this attachment might have been rushed to market a little, because of the issues with the ROM on landmine work, the handle attachment bolts and, for me, the functionality could be greatly improved by adding an option to swap in angled handles, at the inner and middle handle positions. This is a viable retrofit option (if Rogue release the angled, knurled, handles I spotted on their Home Gym Con 2025 booth, in a few vids) because there are already multiple holes in the existing frame to accommodate this….🤞🤞🤞🙏 But I feel it should have been an option, right from initial release. Now to the known issue with restricted range of motion on landmine rows. I already knew that ROM wasn’t going to be the best (with 20kg (44lb) plates, loaded straight onto the bar) so I had a work-around that solves the issue ahead of time, before I bought - I load a single collar, as a spacer, plus a couple of 10kg (22lb) plates first, then add my 20kg plates, up to my working weight. This solves the problem very well. The twenties clear the Pritchett Pad perfectly and allow full range of motion. And I can comfortably fit 80kg (176lbs) total, of iron plates, on a standard Olympic bar with that setup, and could go as high as 190kg (418lbs) with the same setup, if I used a collar, plus 4 x 10kg thin steel powerlifting plates and then 25kg steel plates. Way more weight than I’ll ever need! - I’m not, and never will be, Jerry Pritchett’s size and strength! 😏😆 The rows feel great, really hitting my lats and upper back. Now Rogue, about those angled handles….. ?🙏

Don't purchase exclusively for landmine use
I bought the CG-1 hoping it would be a compact landmine row attachment and it's definitely compact, maybe too much so. Loaded up with regular 45's the plates hit my chest well before my hands do, making it feel like forced partial reps. Unfortunately this thing is just way too shallow and I will be returning. Probably great for cable work though.
