With this latest updated version, we’ve upgraded the handles to a super tough polymer nylon resin. A plastic snap-lock system and convenient adjustability make for a consistent, customized, and challenging workout.
Background of the Heavy Muay Thai Jump Rope:
Many boxers and martial artists in Southeast Asia have long favored a heavier jump rope for helping to build upper body strength, stamina, and explosive power. Athletes who regularly use standard speed ropes can also benefit from varying their resistance levels by incorporating a Thai-Style rope into their training. Just be warned, while double-unders aren’t impossible, they’re also not recommended.
The Thai-Style Jump Rope 3.0 weighs just under 14 oz. and features 1.25" diameter handles. Due to the PVC construction of the cable, the rope is best used on a rubber or non-abrasive surface.
