Rogue’s exclusive Weight Vest Plates were designed for use with the 5.11 TacTec Plate Carrier, but they’re also compatible with a wide range of other tactical training / weighted vests on the market.
A functional alternative to ballistic plates, these American-made, laser-cut steel vest plates are available in three size options, and can be purchased here in pairs or as part of a complete package with the 5.11 Tac Vest.
Rogue Weight Vest Plate Options:
- 3.75 LB Plates - 12.125'" Tall, 10" Wide, 3/25" Thick Laser-Cut Steel, Medium Gloss Burnt Orange Powdercoat, Rogue "R" branding. One pair inside a 5.11 Tac Vest will create a total vest weight of 10 LBS (this total will vary with other vest brands). As seen in the Masters and Teen competitions at the 2017 CrossFit Games.
- 5.75 LB Plates - 11.5" Tall, 10" Wide, 3/16" Thick Laser-Cut Steel, Medium Gloss Dark Red Powdercoat, Rogue "R" branding. One pair inside a 5.11 Tac Vest will create a total vest weight of 14 LBS (this total will vary with other vest brands).
- 8.75 LB Plates - 11" Tall, 10" Wide, 5/16” Thick Laser-Cut Steel, Medium Gloss Black Powdercoat, Rogue logo branding. One pair inside a 5.11 Tac Vest will create a total vest weight of 20 LBS (this total will vary with other vest brands).
IMPORTANT: These plates are meant to be used strictly as a fitness accessory and should never be used as body armor.

Professional quality

Expensive but worth the money.
I purchased a pair of the 8.75lb laser cut plates in November and they were delivered a few days later.
They were to be paired with the 5.11 Tactec plate carrier (I purchased this elsewhere for less than Rogue's price), as these products were the official ones of the CrossFit Games, to use for training and running.
The plates fit the vest perfectly and, when secured correctly, do not move at all.
I have worked out in my vest around 3 times per week for the past 2 months and the plates are still secure.
They may be square but they are not uncomfortable in any way.
I have run up to 8 miles (so far) with the plates in the carrier and no issues.
There are much cheaper plate / carrier combos out there but these products are with the money if you can afford it.

Solid plates - good Build quality
I have both the red and orange Rogue weight plates for different trainings for my 5.11 plate carrier, and they’re perfect for CrossFit. The fit is secure, the durability and build quality is top-notch, and the comfort is excellent, even during long workouts. Plus, the price is great for the quality. Highly recommend!

Great!!! BUT…
The plates are great and fit perfectly in my vest/plate carrier, but I wish the plates had one minor feature. I think if the plate set came with one of them slightly curved or bowed, it would fit more comfortably against the chest and allow the plate carrier to conform to the body better. With the plate in the front being flat, the plate and carrier kind of flare out on the sides. Doesn’t cause any issues upon test fitting, but may cause small “annoyance” when I incorporate into a workout.
Other than that, they’re great!

Perfect
Combined, my Spartan Armor plates add 24 lbs to my Crye Precision plate carrier. And simply put, I just can’t run the distances I used to with that kind of weight.
My Rogue plates are exactly half . . . Exactly what I need for the speed and distance I’m trying to cover!

Brings the pain
I doubled up my weight vest with two plates in the front and two in the back. Still cant get through a run without feeling the burn in my legs. I love it.

Great weight plates
I bought 5.11 weight vest last Christmas and i waited the heaviest plates to restock for a while but It’s definitely worth to wait.
Black plates look amazing with laser-cut logo, steel are well painted. even there is a deep small scratch on one of the plate. I didn’t mind.
I personally think those plates work amazing with 5.11 vest.
Good investment for training.
