De exclusieve gewichtsplaten van Rogue zijn ontworpen voor gebruik met de 5.11 TacTec Plate Carrier, maar ze zijn tevens geschikt voor diverse andere trainings/gewichtsvesten op de markt.
Deze in de VS geproduceerde, lasergesneden gewichtsplaten van staal zijn een praktisch alternatief voor kogelwerende vesten. Ze zijn verkrijgbaar in drie maten en kunnen per paar of als compleet pakket samen met het 5.11 Tac Vest worden besteld.
De Rogue gewichtsplaten zijn verkrijgbaar in de volgende maten:
- 3.75 LB Gewichtsplaten - 12.125" (30,8 cm) lang, 10" (25,4 cm) breed, 3/25" (3 mm) dik. Lasergesneden staal, halfmatte poedercoating in Burnt Orange, Rogue "R"-logo. Het totale gewicht van één paar in een 5.11 Tac Vest is 10 lbs (4,5 kg) (dit varieert bij gebruik van vesten van andere merken). Expensive but worth the money.
I purchased a pair of the 8.75lb laser cut plates in November and they were delivered a few days later.
They were to be paired with the 5.11 Tactec plate carrier (I purchased this elsewhere for less than Rogue's price), as these products were the official ones of the CrossFit Games, to use for training and running.
The plates fit the vest perfectly and, when secured correctly, do not move at all.
I have worked out in my vest around 3 times per week for the past 2 months and the plates are still secure.
They may be square but they are not uncomfortable in any way.
I have run up to 8 miles (so far) with the plates in the carrier and no issues.
There are much cheaper plate / carrier combos out there but these products are with the money if you can afford it.

Solid plates - good Build quality
I have both the red and orange Rogue weight plates for different trainings for my 5.11 plate carrier, and they’re perfect for CrossFit. The fit is secure, the durability and build quality is top-notch, and the comfort is excellent, even during long workouts. Plus, the price is great for the quality. Highly recommend!

Great!!! BUT…
The plates are great and fit perfectly in my vest/plate carrier, but I wish the plates had one minor feature. I think if the plate set came with one of them slightly curved or bowed, it would fit more comfortably against the chest and allow the plate carrier to conform to the body better. With the plate in the front being flat, the plate and carrier kind of flare out on the sides. Doesn’t cause any issues upon test fitting, but may cause small “annoyance” when I incorporate into a workout.
Other than that, they’re great!

Combined, my Spartan Armor plates add 24 lbs to my Crye Precision plate carrier. And simply put, I just can’t run the distances I used to with that kind of weight.
My Rogue plates are exactly half . . . Exactly what I need for the speed and distance I’m trying to cover!

Brings the pain

Great weight plates
I bought 5.11 weight vest last Christmas and i waited the heaviest plates to restock for a while but It’s definitely worth to wait.
Black plates look amazing with laser-cut logo, steel are well painted. even there is a deep small scratch on one of the plate. I didn’t mind.
I personally think those plates work amazing with 5.11 vest.
Good investment for training.
