Introducing the Rogue Monster Rack.

Rogue designed the Monster Rack series to be used by the top professional, collegiate and high school athletic facilities in the world.  We used beefier tubing and oversized hardware to handle the higher demands from these facilities and their coaches.  Just like the Rogue Infinity Rigs, all Monster Rack pieces are fully compatible throughout the entire Monster series.

The illustration below shows how the Monster Rack differentiates itself from industry standard.

Hardware:  1" Hardware vs. standard 5/8" (or 1/2")
Tube Gauge: Front four uprights are Heavy Duty 7 Gauge tube vs. standard 11 Gauge
Tubing Size: 3x3" tube vs. 2x2" or 2x3" tube
Numbered Positions: Every pin position is identified with a laser cut number.  This allows an easy visual when setting J-cups and safeties to identical heights.
Hole Spacing: The 1" holes are spaced 2" on center.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny I have nothing bad to say about this rack. I finally pulled the trigger and bought this rack and it lives up to its name. This thing is a "monster." Rogue will substitute one of the cross members for the multi grip cross member which I recomend doing. This rack will last forever and I don't regret the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from RM-6 modified -- outstanding!! Love it. I bought the 90"H version, but 76" was too much depth for my space. Rogue swapped out the 43" front section for 24" cross members, so both front and back section are 24" deep for about 57" total overall depth. This makes the inside too shallow for any kind of safeties, which is just fine for me, because I'm doing all my lifts on the outside of the rack. I use the back posts for plate storage, the middle posts to mount the matador tip attachment, and the front posts for barbell work. I have a single skinny chin-up bar in back for regular chinning and for hanging knee-raise arm straps, middle bars for suspension straps, and front section for the multi-grip chinning attachment (which is awesome, by the way). With two sets of j-cups on the front, this means I can move from exercise to exercise without adjusting any equipment, which is great because I've been doing a lot of HIIT with short rest periods (tabatas, in fact), so not a lot of time to eff around with changing equipment. FYI, my ceilings are 92-1/2", this leaves plenty of headroom to use the multi-grip chin up attachment. This unit is complete and utter overkill for my needs, but what the heck, I'm only gonna live once! The rack and all of its add-ons are ROCK SOLID and uber-high quality in every aspect -- can't emphasize that enough. The 7-gauge numbered posts are just perfect. I ordered 1-pair of sandwich j-cups, and 1-pair of regular monster j-cups. The regular j-cups are really nice and heavy duty...the sandwich j-cups are over the top, and they give the bar a really nice cushioned landing with the thick plastic lining. The nuts and bolts and washers are what I imagine would be used to assemble a battleship, and if there was an earthquake in New Jersey, I would probably seek shelter inside this rack. The modularity is wonderful; you can mix and match and for the most part position cross members in whatever configuration suits your needs. The only issue: I did not bolt the unit to the floor, and I mounted the matador tip attachment on the outside of the rack (which I'm aware is not advised). The rack wobbled a bit when I did dips; I had zero concern that the rack would tip (with weight plates onboard, this thing is not going anywhere) -- it was more of an annoyance/distraction than anything. That said, I ordered an extra 43" cross member, which I mounted in the lower rear, and it totally stabilized the unit. Problem solved. I imagine that if I either (a) bolted the rack to the concrete, or (b) oriented the dip attachment inside the frame like I'm supposed to, it wouldn't have been an issue at all. If you want a top-notch, modular, super heavy-duty, multi-use power rack as a centerpiece to your gym, look no further.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Far exceeds any expectations ! First day of delivery started off great, UPS Delivery Man in his lift gate trailer negotiated the curvy roads to make the drop. Item came with extras on 2 pallets, each item individually wrapped which is already beyond your generic company who stuffs a box with all hardware hoping it would not get scratched. After many Calories burned due to getting this beast in the house came the assembly. Let me say by taking a day off work was not overkill for assembly. From delivery to finally positioning and having it set up, took 6 hours, though most time was spent admiring the plasma cut holes, numbers, and shear magnitude of this rack. Lastly i could not expect more from this rack, It has clearly shown to handle anything a Superhuman could throw at it while looking like something that would be on display in a museum decades from now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Get the straps, not the filp downs. The rack is solid and strong enough for for anyone. The flip down safeties don't fit, so I plan to grind them down some until they slide in place. I just ordered the straps and I will see which Work best. Unless you build bridges for a living you probably won't have the 1 1/2" tools needed to build this thing, so plan to buy some tools as well. If I had ordered the straps instead of the flip downs I would have been better off. The sandwich J-cups are great for squats, but for other lifts. They are too wide and the bar rolls toward the post. Too much lateral movement is required to unrack/rrack the bar. A pair of each type would be best. Make sure the very nice numbers face inward when you build it. Lastly, your concrete slab is probably not nearly as level or thick as you may think, so plan ahead when you buy anchors.
