Summary of Reviews

The product is generally well-received, with customers praising its quality, accuracy, and aesthetics. The plates are described as having a thin, space-saving design, a smooth and balanced feel during lifts, and an attractive coloring. However, some customers have reported issues with the durability of the paint, which can chip or peel off relatively easily. A few reviewers also noted minor defects or damage. Despite these concerns, most customers seem satisfied with the overall value and performance of the plates.

The perfect squat weight plates.
I went back and forth on what steel plates I wanted once I had decided to get rid of the old used standard plates when I discovered one 45 weighed 43 and the other 48. I weighed them because it always seemed I was a bit off balance when I took the bar off the rack during squats and bench presses. I was searching online for used ones when I saw 2 sets of the steel calibrated 45 for sale plus Rogue had their 35 calibrated on sale too as they moved to the calibrated 2. But no 25s. I loved the weights I’d bought. I had pairs of everything including change plates but no 25. The new 25s on Rogues web site came out. So I bought them. All my Rogues weigh within the stated weight most right on and a few high by two decimal points (0.02) on the fancy scale I have. That’s 2 one hundredths of a pound so not even an oz.off. Loving them. Looking good in my garage gym and while I workout in the driveway.

Great Plates and Great Customer Service
These plates are the real deal. Dense steel plates that are within 10 grams of their states weight. For people that have never had colored steel plates before, the paint will chip over time of use and abuse (and sometimes even in shipping) - this is expected and normal. I ordered the 159kg weight set plus an additional pair of 25 kgs and I personally had some troubles with shipping where the yellow 15kg plates didn't come with the entire shipment due to a driver mistake. Rouge was very kind and understanding and they ended up making it right very quickly. Very good customer service.

Smooth and sharp looking.
Wasn’t sure what to expect with brand new calibrated plates, I have old mismatched plates from FB deals. But what a difference these plates make! It’s hard to explain how they make lifting better but they do, on the flat bench with my Ohio bar they sit nice and move great, no movement and feel great , like I said hard to explain. And they look great as well ! Also arrived faster than I thought!

Good plates
I have the previous generation of these plates and wish I could have just gotten more of those so they were all the same. These are smoother than the old generation but are still pretty easy to handle due to the lip design. Overall not bad at all

Very well made plates
Rogues calibrated LB plates have have a nice inish to them. I have seen complaints about preferences for but that would only increase cost needlessly. The paint finish if cared for well should be fine for their practical purpose. The tolerances for weight and size including the mounting hole is absolutly precise. Very well fit. I think these are very well made and are a great addition to my home gym.

Great, competition style weight plates.
Beautiful plates with the gloss finish at a very reasonable price. I weighed them on a calibrated scale and they are right on the money.

Love the accuracy
I started working out a CrossFit gym across the street from my work and they used KG instead of pounds. It didn’t take long to appreciate the efficiency of using metric versus imperial weight plate denominations. When it I outfitted my own gym I went with calibrated weights as I appreciate the accuracy of each plate and knowing exactly how much I lifted each set. Also it is nice to be able to see at a glance the different weights. On the bar they feel very solid, very little movement at all. The one thing they are lacking is simply better paint. Powder coating is too basic and one would expect a leader like Rogue to use Cerakote on their top of line flagship products.
